Christmas Babycham for me when I was about 11. Two choices, sweet or dry. My auntie in Kensal Rise had a cupboard full of the stuff. I remember the innocent cartoon Deer on the label.
Of course, there was Advocaat as well, but it had a dash of lime cordial in it, so it was ok. Probably my first ever cocktail. |

So many charlatans about. Pick a chef, why don’t you. How many Feckin books can you have that only include 5 ingredients- it’ll be 4 next month.
I know of a famous tv chef ( and I really do know ) don’t worry Clive, that literally cooked the books by invoicing x4 for the restaurant he was fronting when buying in the food.
TV is for w ankers unless it’s Father Ted or something else that is really good and doesn’t make thick people thicker. |

Me too. I genuinely know nothing about the behind the scenes stuff at Rangers. I’ve been on the various boards over the years and get a strong whiff when things are not right - too many knowledgeable people around; when there’s a smell, there’s a smell.
I think we’re getting a warning from our manager. Doesn’t mean it’s dead, of course not; but not good in my house. |
