I just don't know what to think anymore. The fact that we are 4th should be a cause for celebration but somehow it isn't due to the uninspiring and disappointing games over the past few months.

I was freezing cold in the shade of the Ellerslie Road stand and the match did nothing to warm me up.
Clint Hill was shouting at people to get into the box to no effect, BAE looked mildly surprised every time the ball came to him, why is Tom Carroll? And why is Will Keane?
And what worries me is that Ravel Morrison displays similar body language to Adel during matches ie pass to me cos I is great and if it isn't in exactly the right place, I ain't going to work for it and I'm going to throw my (gloved) hands up in the air
As you say, a forgettable match and one we should have one. We may well regret this later on but in fact I don't want to win the Play-offs thank you very much.

Thoroughly enjoyed the match from my sofa, husband wisely out getting a puncture fixed but the guys fixing our alarm system were treated to a wide range of shouts, screams and language unbecoming to a lady.
Hopefully we can have a bit of stability from now on with our dreadful run of injuries over and the new boys settling in quickly
One point I would like to make - Clint Hill running like a teenager to stop a Burnley striker with a brilliant tackle right at the end. Shame he didn't score either - he deserves a few more!
And Clive, write that book.... |
