The seedings are in, and the five possible teams Swansea can draw are: Apollon Limassol (Cyprus), Atromitos FC (Greece), FC Aktobe (Kazakhstan), FH Hafnarfjördur (Iceland) and FC Petrolul Ploieşti (Romania).
Aktobe would be a nightmare. Apollon aren't very good and would be a decent trip, and Atromitos would be OK as well. Petrolul are the best of that five so could do with avoiding them.

I have visited Ploiesti many times through work and have seen them play a few times at their shiny new stadium. Purely on logistics and experience I hope we get them.
Iceland the nearest then? Petroleum the banana skin here, don't see us struggling against anyone else but the trips are horrible and will really benefit the Premier League side we come up against after the away leg.
Personally hope we play the first leg at home, get the tie over with Malmo-Style. Give some fringe players the second leg (will still be a strong team) and thus ensuring progression whilst keeping the first team fairly fresh for whoever it is we have then.
There once was an ugly duckling...

The Icelandic team is probably the best for travel & I wouldn't expect them to be as good as malmo The Romanians we want to avoid, but there's no big teams with euro pedigree to worry about
Be over there now after

Wow, that draw hasn't been kind at all!

Don't get hung up on these Romanian's being a tough team based on the historical performance of the Bucharest outfits. Having seen them play they are average at best.
Had a quick look at flight prices for Cyprus and Greece and its a massive OUCH. Almost £500 for either week. Anywhere we go at short notice is likely to be expensive this time of year given the short notice though.
Hope we pull one of the weaker teams and keep the coin for the group stages then.

I can't see ISL or KAZ being that much cheaper either

You're of course right they're not as strong as they used to be, but it might nevertheless be worth noting that Petrolul beat Vitesse Arnhem, a very solid Dutch side (and where we bought Bony), in the previous round. I think it's safe to say Petrolul is the potentially biggest challenge for us, though Swans will obviously be the favorite no matter which of these five teams we draw.

Vitesse have been cherry picked in the pre season.

They're still the best team in that list and one we will want to avoid. Getting to Aktobe would take two changes and 40 odd hours of travelling, that's assuming we could even get a visa at short notice. I would assume that the club would charter a plane to get there, maybe sell the extra seats to fans - hopefully not at hugely inflated prices like the Malmö trip!
Flights to Reykjavik and Bucharest are around £250 at the moment for the 22nd.

Limassol aren't a bad side either. Just missed out on qualifying for last year's CL group stages with a team made up of mostly Brazilians and Portuguese.

"A ball will be taken from each of the bowls containing seeded and unseeded teams and placed in a large empty bowl in the middle, where they will be shuffled. The first club drawn will play their first match at home and sides from the same association cannot be drawn against each other."
The way I read this is that if one team from each pot (groups 1 - 6 seeded and unseeded) go into the larger bowl then the only teams we cannot be drawn against will be FC Dynamo Kyiv (UKR), KRC Genk (BEL), AZ Alkmaar (NED), OGC Nice (FRA). We also can't be drawn against Tottenham as they are in the same association as us.
If this is the case then we have the possibility of being drawn against many more teams than the ones the OP listed.

Just had a quick look on skyscanner and for anyone who's interested these are my findings. I only looked at flight out the day before the match and flight back the day after, may work out cheaper with longer between the flights will look more into that when we find out who we've got.
