Actually most of their destinations are NOT to out of town airports. I have flown with them to Singapore, Penang, Langkawi, Karbi, Phuket, Hong Kong and many other places. Each time to that destinations main airport!
Air Asia do NOT have any premium economy seats but you can book 'hot seats' which are basically the front 6 rows. All the seats on their planes are the same
AIR ASIA X - which is the long haul airline - has two rows of flat bed seats. Which I have luckily used on a number of flights to Australia.
Air Asia is a gazliion times better than Ryan Air. The seats are fine even for Europeans
Air Asia X - Premium/Business seats are a great deal as Air Asia X economy seats are NOT condusive to a pleasant flight (flights are always 4.5 hrs or more on this airline) |  | | |
