this next appointment will give us an idea of where the new owners/board want to go,will they just be plodding along or like brum go for it?
whoever they decide on will need money to spend and if they want to be contenders and stay in this div( as a first priority) they need to go for a top draw experianced guy (who will cost a few bob) he will want a budget to bring in guys in the summer and might even convince Mr Darlling to stay to help take the club upwards maybe?, again more money, its not going to be done on the cheap sorry to say, can it be done within the fair play rules ? not sure as they are hoping to change, but for me this next appointment with our new D O F now in place will show what the new owners are aiming for

Really can’t see anything more than 5M being available, unless we sell more players. I can think of Mykola, Yates, VIP ( possibly too early) etc. Take half hits on them, after all this is the new era, it’s pretty much rip it up and start again.
Lewis O’Brien who is on stupid money ( Swans pay around 100k a month plus all those incentives he had ) can’t be considered and MPH will leave. Delcroix will cost a fair bit. Darling looking unlikely. There’s salary freed up there.

I still think (and hope) they'll give Sheehan a couple of games to see if he can just keep them up. No sense in spending money on fees just to pry a manager from a contract with another team who might need a couple of games to get acclimated to the Championship League. Sheehan's seen every team once already this season. If he wins a couple of games over a short span of games, then let him finish the season. Cotterill Congreve and Wilson can all step up. Swansea need to develop a goal keeper as well and not pay big wages for veterans. Why is Watts not on the bench?

I would go all out for Low and CR17 on frees and make Connor captain on decent money. He has the edge that Grimes never
had. Ash Williams edge. Wilson and Parker have real gas and Ginnelly and Yates wilm be back.
Bianchini Vipotnik Eom Tymon Key all have potential and the club needs a coach that improves players. The new man must assess Yates and Kuharevych in pre season. In my opinion a limited big lump can still be of use off the bench. Both Yate and Cullen ars poached and feed of knock-downs generated by muscle.

The rebuild looks massive time will tell a bit like the forum being moved the club is in turmoil. We getting outplayed at home by Sheffield Wednesday who were without bannon against us and they lost 4 nil last night to Burnley. Conner Roberts scored and played well going forward. Yates is out of contract next summer. I doubt that he would want to come back here.

I have seen Wilson a dozen times and he is a threat. Dan James did nothing at Shrewsbury. Wilson was MOM in his first game and two assists on his latest game. Wilson is more mature than Govea who has played.

The forwards press was so much better yesterday they got quickly into shape first before then closing Blackburn down properly add to that the midfield have the pace and tenacity to back that press up when needed while using those skills to recover if good play does cause problem, nice to see our issues further up the pitch not in our defensive third.
That change in the forwards press made a big difference meaning Blackburn resorted to the long ball.
Blackburn came to attack and we took advantage of that getting in behind themselves as in QPR game, question is could we deal with the teams that park the bus and try counterattacking enough pace in the middle now. | | | |

I agree. Coleman would be smart to build on top of their 3-0 win and get Sheehan to agree to lead the team for the rest of this season. Lots of positivity from this win! Really need some points from next three games (@ PNE, Middlesbrough, @ Watford). It'll be interesting to see how Sheehan, if still in charge, does against Leeds and Burnley after these 3 games. | | | |
