It would be good to have other option with him, we shall see how he gets on, seem to have a quicker stream of balls to him with Key and Pederson on the left. Funny how out of position Key looked to get the ball forward quicker than he does in what is seen as his natural side of the pitch to play on. It will be nice to see him on the pitch if that is the case.

Southampton v Swansea City : FA Cup Match day thread on 10:32 - Jan 10 by RichardO | Cabango use to score quite a few goals at set pieces before Darling arrival, think they tend to get in each others way a bit, seems as if tjing have been sorted at our defensive corners(hope I haven't cursed that area now) but the main thing with our attacking set pieces now seem to be focused on not allowing Grimes take the corners and then making sure he is not the last man at them. We have rotated Key, Tymon, Ronald and Eom as the last men, think Ronald is a big enough unit to cause more problems in the box than on the edge would have Grimes move to the edge during the set play given he could take more advantage as the ball drops loose with his strikes while always remembering to have another two players ready in case of counter attacks. Like to see players from the opposite side of the pitch coming across to take inswinging corners but don't want the see the amount of work needed for the fullbacks to do it, especially with the amount of work including sprint in attack and defence of which is expected of them. New and nippy left footed winger in the xfer window would help in that department. Please. |

Perhaps it didn't read properly as I intended so I added the person you were talk about to which I replied referring to. t would be good to have other option(s) with him(Ginnelly), we shall see how he gets on, seem to have a quicker stream of balls to him with Key and Pederson on the left. Funny how out of position Key looked to get the ball forward quicker than he does in what is seen as his natural side of the pitch to play on. It will be nice to see him on the pitch if that is the case. Sorry if it confused missing a "s" on options in the original text would not have helped [Post edited 10 Jan 19:20]

It might be a little too early...and I certainly wouldn't start him but he might be an option off the bench.but if he is recovered it will be like a new signing for the rest of the season.

Yep. Needs to complete some games at other levels first. Think he can play for the u23's as an overage player to begin with.

I don’t trust this current coach at all. In fact, the least trustworthy I’ve seen in recent times We need him gone to move on That simple It’s how we do it but do it we must. He’s wrong for us

I don’t trust him either. I don’t see how anybody can. I’m fine with a weakened side tomorrow, but we know he won’t give a second thought to dumping us in it halfway through the season for a relatively minor upgrade. We will never know when he’s going to try to force a move with no warning. We just know he probably will.

I suspect ownership are looking for an excuse to get shot. Two consecutive defeats might do it.

No just a Swansea City fan who wants us to win every game we play. I’m not jumping on the bandwagon of disliking an employee for some misguided naive comments. That’s trivial stuff really.
