I am speaking to a football agent this week who knows Victor.
I expect he will know better than relying on stories from the BBC/WalesOnline.

John Bond gave away Dean Saunders who was later sold on for ยฃ1M...back when that was a megabucks fee.

We were also offered Vardy and turned it down, all clubs make mistakes, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

but at the time Victor did nothing during his spell to warrant a deal.

Maybe the poster who continues to go on about Gyokers should watch the Prime Video doc on Leeds United where the Dan James transfer fell apart. Thank goodness for Mr Jenkins. His final act.

Maybe the poster should think back to some of his posts criticising VG when he was playing for us. You can't hide from the Internet.

Swansea have professional workers a who are specialists. I commented the Gyork and Cullen were not a good pair as neither had pace. Gyorkeres in a his sole start scored a lovely crisp header.

Cooper stated "there is a good player in there". So why did he not play him and try to sign him? I ask questions and try to answer them as well.

I have made the point that he was passing through and long term development was not 'his thing'. Cooper could have stuck around to develop Piroe but was not interested.

It is Mark Robbin;'s thing and Coventry were ยฃ20m better off.

He developed a few young England internationals quite nicely we won't mention names but one is playing centre half for England tonight after spending two years on loan with us. One thing managers don't get is time in a job. For me Victoria g developed into a good player later on.

Iโ€™ll answer the question around Gyokores for you, again and for the last time

There was โ€œ a player in there somewhere โ€œ but he wasnโ€™t showing it regularly enough at Swansea. There were glimpses but overall he was disappointing. Iโ€™m unsure whether or not he was happy here but certainly his record at Brighton and Swansea was not impressive, to say the least. As we know some players are later developers and that might well be the case here but thereโ€™s no point in criticising a manager for not playing him when the player wasnโ€™t producing when he had chances. He didnโ€™t look a Premier League player for certain.

The game is full of stories of players who have been released by clubs and achieved things albeit he was here on loan. Our club is no different in that respect.

Was not signing Gyorkeres a good decision or a mistake?

The fact is Robbins saw his potential and signed him. Swansea saw his potential and did not.

Just accept it was a bad mistake by Cooper. What was it it the Gyokeres liked at Coventry but did not like at Swansea. Was it " he did not fit the system". Well the system is no good then.

Gyorkeres needed time and the Swansea coaching staff thought Cullen was a better bet. If I was Coleman I would be wondering what he is paying for.

Cullen is the best forward to come out of the Swansea system since Jason Bowen 35 years ago. He is bang average and making no progress and will not head the ball with the goal at is mercy. So what is the problem?

Why is Swansea declining ? The answer is decisions like these. Not developing players who can score.

Ultimately the American owners have the final say, they are responsible for employing the people who make the decisions. If decisions made within the club are not good enough and mistakes are being made we all know where the fault ultimately lies.
