It's the right wing that run Labour, the majority of parliamentary Labour are Tories, Labour has been infiltrated and overrun by Tories, the way Jewish Tories within Labour treated left wing Jewish members was disgraceful. The unions are Tories, the zero hour, minimum wage workers are often not in a union it's the middle class wannabes are in unions, the right wing run our TV, press, government, governments across the world, the EU the lot, it's a shame that we live in a dog eat dog world but that is the way it is, survival of the fittest.

It's the drum I'm constantly banging. Because people have views that are viewed as socially positive they are castigated and thrown in to the abyss of lefty loonies because the minority have much more communist ideals. It is the same on the other side of the political spectrum.

Socialism in its form as purported by the Labour Party (especially with the creation of the NHS) has no relationship with communism whatsoever. Only stupid people think that (and there are quite a few on here that share that train of “thought”. A free market global capitalist ideal is what’s going to kill of the planet eventually and make us a whole lot poorer.

it's hysterical, isn't it? people on here who claim to support democracy yet show such clear hatred for people who have a different opinion. Some real political hatred gets posted on here.

I have no issue with people voting Tory. I’ve voted Tory on one occasion before (mainly as my area would vote in a rag on a stick if they wore a blue rosette and my MP was/is actually a good representative imo and deserved my support). However the CURRENT front bench is the most directionless, publicity hungry and down right mean bunch of neardowells we’ve ever had the misfortune to have in government, in my lifetime at least.

I voted tory once, you make the best choice you can at the time. I didn't vote for Bojo though and I won't in future. Given the news though, voting labour is just slightly the lesser of two evils. It'll be an indy candidate again I think.

I tend to agree with that Conservatives under Johnson ,to me,are unelectable I do not trust Labour though any more but Starmer is a better politician than Steptoe,a deeply dangerous man. I'm not sure Labour have a better leader anymore than the Tories. Yvette Cooper I see muted.Just laughable. Nice gig for the Balls household though.

Especially when there's pound notes to be garnered, to fill ones own pocket, they're all Vipers no matter what political parties they represent. I've no time for any of them,. Got to say though, that creature Rees Mogg talking last night made my stomach turn when he talked about 91,000 Civil service personnel to lose their jobs, to add better value to the British Tax Payer, he's a horrible piece of work who has no idea whatsoever of British tax payers, whose gonna pay to keep those 91,000 people to live when they lose their jobs, whether it'll be over a 1yr 3 yr or even a 5yr period, yes you guessed it, the British Tax Payer, the utter useless cretin of a creature.

There’s no doubt the public sector is completely bloated and isn’t really giving good value for money for the taxpayers but there has to be a plan in place for anyone affected to not be chucked on the scrap heap or for whole communities to be ruined like when they closed the mines. Imagine the effect on Swansea if they moved or scrapped the DVLA?

We need to know where this cut is coming from. It’s seems like those celebrating think that civil servants are those Sir Humphrey Appleby types, where in reality well over half the civil servants are either in the prison service, job centres or HMRC. (This comes with the caveat that I have relatives working in the Valuations office and it is without doubt the cushiest job I’ve ever come across).

Its a worrying time time for you, hopefully things will work out fine. But there is a lot of waste in some areas of the civil service as with many administration based vocations.
