Holiday prices on 21:17 - Jun 19 with 1234 views | onehunglow | Keith.# Nothing showcases our national identity so much as our drink culture and fondnes for crap food. Ive seen plenty of Spanish families ,on a beach, gaze in awe -the worng kind- at some of our beauts. Take away our holiday money and I d suggest many countries have abject contempt for our "culture". Going to France especially away from the Cote d Azur is a breath of fresh air, literally and absolutely the wrong holiday for many of our fellow citizens here. It starts in the airport at fark off o clock. You ve seen it,so have I ,tell me it aint repulsive Used to go to the Hague regularly and whilst in the airport lounges it's easy to tell the Brits ;loud ,fat and obnoxious normally complaining about the Marechaussee

Holiday prices on 19:11 - Jun 19 by max936 | Loves a pint me and a nice large glass of Red, it its cheap all the better, nothing for me to have 8,10 or more on a Saturday, I enjoy it so why not, its those that drink and can't behave and cause problems for others that give drinkers a bad name. |
Me, you, and Fireboy are gonna get on mighty fine.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Holiday prices on 11:35 - Jun 20 with 1082 views | Catullus | Is there alcohol snobbery involved here? I've seen plenty of catfights down Wind Street after the women got pi$$ed up on wine. Alcohol is alcohol at the end of the day, it's the amount you drink that makes the difference. The food is the biggest difference to me. In Rhodes we tired some traditional Greek stuff, Moussaka, Taramasalata, the hotel had a BBQ (or whatever the Greek version is!) it was pay one price and eat whatever you want so I tried everything, apart from the Octopus, and it was lovely. Thing is I'd tried Greek food in the Uk and thought it was disgusting! You can't beat the genuine article.

Very true Cat. It is primarily cultural. Few attractive Italians or Greek girls are seen skirts up to their roses vomiting onto the gutter having consumed cheap kebabs and lager. Our lot love that in their millions .Fact. Apart from Germany and the Macho Eastern European racists countries , cheap shyte alcohol isn’t the done thing.

Is Skegness tidy? My mate has a very nice "mobile home" there and has said we can stay there anytime. I'd like to stay away from the Brits though to be fair.

I'm not surprised, just trying to start a discussion. We bought a touring caravan a few years ago. By the time you buy one - they have gone expensive, get a good 4 by 4 to tow it, storage, maint, insurance and site fees, it's far cheaper and easier to get on a plane. Grand kids love it though

I agree the Initial outlay can be expensive but the cost of the caravan is a personal choice (new/2nd hand etc) ,Most sites are open from March to November, site fees where I am ( we've sited our tourer ) include winter storage , I can pop down when I like and to an area where I must admit of never tiring to visit. I do like my overseas trips but also happy to stay here and support the local economy .

Bluestones a case in point , we booked as a family unit but it went belly up due to the pandemic, they were paid handsomely by the powers to be to turn it into an R&R and the additional cost increase for the same booking and more if you wanted to have your chalets adjacent has made me think that's the last time they'll be having my money .

I'm currently sat by the side of the pool in a 4 star AI resort in Spain. My daughter is in the pool playing with a new friend from Bordeaux. In July I spent £1200 on a self catering caravan in Devon. This cost £100 less. All inclusive. UK tourism is a rip off. Home on Saturday and just done the return covid tests. It's been great.

Holiday prices on 11:56 - Aug 25 with 744 views | majorraglan | Had a staycation in Scotland last month, spoke to the proprietors of several guest houses and hotels and while they were busy, they weren’t as busy as they normally are as the crowds of Americans and Japanese were staying away. Going abroad this year is much cheaper than it’s been for years as hotels are struggling and selling things off on the cheap. Staycations are a great way of boosting the UK economy however, unfortunately lots of UK businesses are trying to cash in by raising prices significantly and taking the p... Had an experience a few years ago when we had a child hospitalised in Spain, it was an experience I wouldn’t want to repeat hence saying home. All those going away, enjoy and stay safe.
