No surptises there but it did the damage, just a shame we couldn't have found a second goal, we'll need to score now. At 2-0 we could have sat back and counter attacked.
RICO HENRY WINS APPEAL on 14:54 - Jul 28 by Jajess
Was a red. Shouldn't have won the appeal. But guess the two Brentford fans commenting the match helped the appeal.
Yes I know some say it wasnt a red, Ive done a few tackles in my time like that, but todays game is different, theres no control in what your doing at that speed, foot wwas up, but hey ho I suppose a Bees v Cottagers is the better game for sky, !!!!

He got the ball, I understand why, from his viewpoint the ref gave red but it wasn't, in my opinion, the right choice. His foot wasn't up but his studs were showing.
I think it's a shame that a good hard challenge, a proper effort to get the ball is considered a straight red. During my local league playing days I made plenty of similar challenges and was on the end of plenty too, no complaints, no cards, not even a free kick, just get up and get on with it.

Yes but this is not local league football.
Scandalous to overturn that decision. I guess the fa would prefer an English team in the premier.

It might be an English league but we have been affilated to it since the beginning
I m not that keen on the prospect of a "derby" between Connahs Quay and the New Saints."
Swansea v Llanelli rugby is ok but not football
We will always be on the end of bad decisions. It goes with the territory. I remember two penalties against us at old Trafford and anfield fecking embarrassing. But to be expected.
We now know what we up against tomorrow night. Come on my lovely boys

Shocking decision. They are now encouraging tackles like that. Ankle breakers.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Having played the game as a hard tackling midfielder, my opinion was always that if I touch the ball before the man, it’s a good tackle.
However, this isn’t Sunday league. I fully expected this not to be overturned. For me, it’s the speed he comes in at, if Roberts had got there first, Rico is going too fast to pull out of the challenge and could seriously hurt Roberts.

The weird (as in baffling) thing is that I could understand if the ref HAD got this wrong he could have been castigated but ultimately he’s only got a split second to make that decision. I’m 100% in agreement with everything you say and for a panel to disagree and rescind this red sets a dangerous precedent- go in for one of these tackles and you’ve got a good chance of getting away with it .
It’s no wonder refs are inconsistent if they are now thinking - those are now allowed then.
I smell a massive rat . Hands them a psychological advantage . Thomas Frank is a massive c*nt. Let’s hope we truly f*ck them over tonight.
