He Has Got To Go on 16:49 - Feb 27 by SuddenLad | You think Keith Hill is our worst manager ever ? Really ? He is the best manager by a distance and a double distance from being the worst. |
You obviously didn’t get the sentiment of that post. You have said before everything I post is a joke. Why bother replying to me? Put me on your ever growing blocked list please.
He Has Got To Go on 19:36 - Feb 27 with 1697 views | dalenumber2 | I have been thinking about our situation for a while (haven't we all) and genuinely think that the problems are not just with Hill but with the club as a whole. The board of directors and their employees at the club are, along with the manager, all part of the climate that has contributed towards our situation for the last eighteen months or so. We have heard about mysterious things happening on the board of directors. Comings and goings, sudden departures and reappearance. Who is our new Chairman and is he largely absent? Also the CEO now seems to be arousing suspicion and there have been rumours of bullying and discontent in the dressing room. We really don't know what's going on. People are asking for the manager's head, however I suspect Keith Hill could be just the tip of the iceberg. I wonder if we will ever find out what is really going on behind the scenes. Unless we do we can only speculate and will no doubt continue to vent our frustrations at the manager and players.

He Has Got To Go on 17:22 - Feb 27 by blackdogblue | Whilst I agree with you somewhat it has to be said, further back in this post Perkins & Alby looked a great summer signing for the club. I don’t believe anyone will disagree it didn’t work out, why?... Because they are older & slower now. My point.. Nothing lasts forever, backroom antucs & conspiracy theories aside, what used to work clearly hasn’t for the 2nd season in a row.. Take a leaf out of Grant Holts boots, admit the inevitable, time to move on & hang the flat cap & pink pants up & move on somewhere else & let someone else have a crack at it. Whilst some hail our GME ever, he didn’t succeed at Barnsley did he when he had a budget? |
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/20867629 'Operating with one of the smallest budgets in the division, Hill pursued a policy of signing players from lower leagues.' Hardly able to splash the cash about like a drunken sailor was he. 'Barnsley will now begin the search for their 10th manager since Dave Bassett led them to the Championship play-off final in 2000.' Barnsley jettisoning their manager was not exactly unheard of at the time Surely Perks and Alby weren't signed for their blistering pace. Isn't it more likely Hill signed them as experienced campaigners who could pass on their wisdom to the younger players in the squad and act like leaders on the pitch in times of adversity. Evidently that didn't quite go to plan.
