I totally agree with your point that the Bony re signing was a disaster, both in terms of football and more importantly for financial reasons.

He is reportedly on £110 to £120k a week, absolutely crazy for a club like ours to make such an investment on a player that had not played hardly any football for 2 seasons?

He has been here nearly all season and his contribution has been totally ineffectual

Absolutely mental money, Tammy is reported to be earning more here than his £50k per week salary aswell.

Ive just read Lisa is the greatest poster this forum has ever seen.

Having now dried my trousers , I have to say Nirvana s last post is that such Lisa would be incapable of making .

Epic

30m for Baston and Bony, both either fooked or fookwit .

But hey, let's not upset Jenkins or question his incompetence

By greatest he meant to say least worst.

How many more expensive mistakes is Jenkins allowed to make? The recruitment system is a disgrace.

As many as he can bullshit his way out of when trying to convince the septic tanks that they are worth buying, cos they haven't got a scooby doo.

A similar injury to Bony finished off Ferrie Bodde's football playing career. It's said that Bony has suffered an injury to his 'anterior cruciate knee ligament.' And it's said that Boddie suffered from an 'anterior cruciate knee ligament damage and torn cartilage in his left knee.'

Some players can come back from this type of injury, but some may come back and never quite be the same again...

Can’t think of it happening before?

Was it Swindon away when OTJ and Trunds were stretchered off/ taken off with bad injuries?
Think Scunthorpe as well.
Although we did have a sending off or 2 as well

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Bony has 6 months to recuperate and get fit before next season.
I am convinced he'll bounce back as good as ever.
Best wishes to both for a full recovery

A friend of mine at the match said Bony requested to be subbed off, gave the sub signal and hobbled over to the bench. He wasn't allowed to come off and was shaking his head as he limped back on to the pitch.

If this is true, should the medical staff face any repercussions?

If true they need a bollocking at the least.

I'm pretty much sure it would have been the managers call to keep Bony on the pitch rather than the medical staff to be fair, the only occasion where the medical staff would take precedence is with a head injury

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

How many teams sign free agents to cover injuries these days?

Better to register youth players than bring some random in from the cold on short notice.

Spot on mate, they are free agents for a reason 👍

an ACL repair takes a lot longer than 6 months to recover from if he's done it properly

To be honest, I wasn't keen when I heard we were linked with him but, given CC's preference for playing Clucas in a wider, more advanced role, I started to see some merit in signing King as someone more central, box-to-box.

The news about Fer (who just seemed to be coming into some really good form) really opens up an opportunity for King - hopefully he grabs it with both hands.

With both feet would be better.
