Hull City will mess their survival fight up leaving you to take advantage and stay up.
Swansea's squad should be nowhere near the bottom if you had brought big Sam in instead of Clemment who i think isn't very good i think you would be mid table..

It's not the 2 points that's worrying people, it's the form the respective clubs are in. Assuming Llorente and Cork are fully fit though (I know some people don't rate Cork but I think he has been one of our best players under Clement), I'm confident we can at least pick up enough points to make a fight of it.

I don't understand the negativity towards Cork.

and the respective run ins. The only really tough game for them is Tottenham at home, and their saving grace is that they will probably have nothing to play for as it is the last game of the season. Our tough game is Man United away and can't see us getting anything there.

The next 2 games will tell the whole story as we both play Watford and Stoke. If they are still above us after that duo of games then I think it's curtains. We can no longer set up to draw though, we need wins.

Probably 3 wins and a draw in our next 6, and even that won't be nailed on to be safe.

And players like palace who can scrap by any means to win games, we don't have that.

That we have Cork as "best player" under Clement is truly damning.

No real tackler, passer ,inspiration and inept in front of goal , a true anonymity as a captain .

Our alternative is Ki, who really is far worse and a waste of a shirt.

It's about the form and ours is pretty crap and there doesn't seem to be a lot of fight in our players. Hull on the otherhand seem up for it.

Form can change quickly as we've shown. It just depends which version of us turns up over the next few games. Will it be the Jan/Feb version or the March/April version? Similarly, Hull and Palace's mini bubbles can burst just as quickly.

Most of Cork's critics aren't particularly bright. Evidence of that is available in this thread.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

If cork has detractors ,it would seem some have the sense to simply accept what they witness ,which is a player utterly devoid of the skills to call himself a Premier League captain.

To witness him within thirty yards of opponents goal is painful

I pray Carroll somehow man s up properly and becomes a Stella player for us

Some might want to support Cork on this site purely to justify their own opinion. Best accept reality . Cork truly is shyte

There seems to be a strong correlation between people who don't rate Cork and those who would start Montero and Barrow/Narsingh with Siggy and two centre forwards

Most exiles make every effort to watch the team play live as often as possible. Missing games is a matter of regret. You can't even be arsed to watch them when they're ten minutes away from your front door. Maybe one day you'll grasp the difference, but I won't hold my breath.

In the meantime I guess people will just have to call you on your inane comments about "our" players (not yours) as if you're even remotely qualified to make them.

I don't think that matters as much to be honest. Good football beats "passion" nine times in ten.

You wouldn't be talking about Perch and Dwight by any chance? Dwight is bright enough. Neither are particularly positive posters at the best of times.

Or Leon Britton.

I like Jack Cork. In the right system he is a serious asset, and he played very well indeed in our mini revival, very well. he aint a captain though, not in a million years. I did think it was too early for Mawson, now I don't.
