On another boxing theme. I watched a re-run of Prizefighter earlier surprisingly good shows them fair play, also the Brian Rose v Carson Jones fight, not the first time for Ian John-lewis to be involved in a controversial decision, but he had a shocker last night.

They're good shows because the fact that you've got 3 rounds means that somebody has to make something happen, defensive fighters are never going to be favoured. I heard Rose wobbled Jones in the first round and the ref let it go, so in fairness surely the ref should have done the same the other way as well? I've not seen it though.

He was on dodgy legs but he was backing into the ropes when Lewis stopped it, but he might have regained his composure on the ropes or Jones might have finished it anyway, but he should have had a chance, Jones was wobbled, but he didn't react as badly as Rose did in fairness, but Rose did deserve a proper chance.

How strange. You're a few plums short of a fruit pie at the best of times but you're all over the place today. Try again.

I take that as realisation then and falling back on your ever so tired technique of "discrediting to deflect". Now get with the programme.
