This cryptic shite realy fcks me off. Non commital comment made about a possible first signing being announced, with reference to the work of our scouts. Then a picture of a striker most of us thought already had one foot in the Emirates and a statement about him being 'one of the qpr players'.

That being the case, it surely isn't beyond the bounds of possibility that Arse, Spurs or anyone else interested wont offer him what he is on with us.
Personally, I don't think we will get a better striker than him anywhere in this transfer window, and I'd be very happy to keep him as he is undoubtedly good enough to be playing for a Champions League team. |  | | |

I think this could make sense. What are his options likely to be? It's probably not worth moving to a side outside of the CL places because if the rumours about his wages are remotely accurate he would most likely have to take a pay cut. Why would he want to do that, just to play in a bigger stadium? Looking at the clubs in the CL which ones would he be likely to start regularly? The options are limited and even those clubs might want to pay him less, so he could end up moving for CL football, take a pay-cut and then end up not playing anyway. | |
