Dale have been handed a trip to Morecambe's Globe Arena in the first round of the FA Cup.
Just a week or so after Morecambe picked up a 2-1 win at Spotland, the two teams were tied together again after the draw for the first round.
The game will take place on Saturday 3rd November. No admission details have been announced as of yet.
The FA Cup has not been the most successful competition for Dale in recent years, having only progressed past the first round once in the past seven seasons.
