Well, it would be rude not to wouldn’t it ? The RIU hotel in Dubai is hosting a large Welsh support, and yesterday some of them gathered to watch the Spain v Costa Rica game. As the match progressed and the more happier of hour drinks were downed the traditional singing erupted throughout the city.

It is to be expected really. Give a Welsh follower a light ale and company and the inevitable will happen. The good weather and picture posing done many of the Swansea fans in the contingent headed in to another sleepy days holiday ( or not ) before tomorrows game against Iran.

And it is a crucial game, a must win we would say.

As the day moved in to night and the beers flowed a united front within the red wall consumed the bar areas and lounges of numerous hotels. The more wiser fans ( possibly ) buying the Dubai entertainer app which gives many and numerous discounts on food and drink at certain venues for £50. You can get an app called The Entertainer which gets you access to 2 for 1 discounts at lots of places, the Tourist version will set you back £50 quid for 30 days access, but you can soon make your money back if you use it properly. More of the red wall will descend in to Dubai and Qatar today and tomorrow many taking advantage of the two match packages on offer for the last two group games. And who can blame them, some have made it such a last minute decision they’ve only gathered their papers together on Monday for the trip.
