I really hope we give this a shot. Would give the season a lift and theres every chance of a good shop window effect, particularly for our loanees. Don’t forget the televised games are free to air …there’s a surprisingly large number who avoid Sky like the plague but love their football. An injury crisis to match what we’ve had us unlikely…and Saturday is within the window still for a loan should another disaster strike. As long as the line up reflects the current match day squad, starting 11 could be any of them. Come on Marti..give us some fun and Palace again in round 4! |

This guy is properly off his head! As far as I remember the Saracens have always been kind of admired — hence the Rugby bunch. Back in those days there was mutual respect alongside the crazy religious nonsense that lead to violence. I think the guy needs to watch Robin Hood Prince of thieves, Kingdom of Heaven etc…and get a life. Mind you, pretty good publicity for you and nice to know there’s a hospitable watering hole for us lot. |

Maybe someone who was actually there can confirm…not really clear on the TV, but was this more a tactical blunder than the goalies fault? Looks like he may have been deliberately positioned well up the pitch as part of their set up for corners given that we had everyone back. So not so much a howler more a brilliant pass and execution by Varane and Smyth. Expect the same v Preston. Perhaps we should give away more corners! |

Oh dear. Has had limited experience at this level and it showed. Blatant inconsistency and inexplicable decisions. Luckily made no difference, but imagine him reffing Norwich. Felt a bit sorry for him. |

To be fair, if you look at the big picture and Celar scores we just might have a different proposition up front as well as an equaliser. In fact everything about the way he took it was perfect..until he kicked it. Felt like that might be the moment that sends us down. Now come on Rangers, prove me wrong. |

I’ll go for home v Leicester in 1966. 4th round of League cup. We won 4-2 . Leicester were a top team and star studded including Gordon Banks in goal. In the second half Les Allen had a shot hit underside of bar, hit Banks on the back and went in. Right in front of us. Pandemonium in the loft.
I was sitting on a crush barrier held there by my dad. |
