Showing my age a bit, but I was a big fan of Roger Dean's artwork (think Yes and Uriah Heep).
For iconic, can't beat the Stones' "Sticky Fingers" sleeve. |

As a youngster didn't really take much notice of the managers, but remember Bob Stokoe as I used to deliver his papers, Les Shannon because some gypsy woman put a curse on him and the club, and Harry Potts for the Potts Must Go chants/banners.
For the latter, Oyston has taken over and the curse has returned!! |

Has he got it yet? I reckon a spine would be GK CB CM CF, so that is currently Lewis, Clarke, Cubero, Miller. Methinks only 2 of those might have been in his original thoughts. Maybe Frans is the CB? Maybe another keeper lined up? Maybe Miller wasn't even on his list? Time will tell! |
