Going from one end of the Country to virtually the other end of the Country In such a short space of time and then putting In the perfect shift???

I'm almost but not quite ashamed of meself for thinking a couple of hours ago we've got no chance tonight.

Outstanding result.

If a miracle happened and we went up via the playoffs
at 19:25 19 Jan 2025

I loved our promotions to the Prem, I couldn't believe I was driving to Goodison Park for our first away game after promotion and even better on the way home by the time I got back onto the M6 Moyes was still waffling on about Everton's 'bad luck' during the game (bollox Moyes and thanks Tommy Smith for the winner).
But It turned sour for me the whole experience , I was at the Etihad when we survived by the skin of our teeth and listening to Mark bloody Hughes on the radio talking about QPR not being In that situation next season (just piss off)
The kick off times, the expense of It all, Its all part and parcel of It, the one thing that I really noticed was fans who were always sat around me within nodding distance had disappeared once we were In the Prem.
I didn't like It, I didn't like the razzamatazz, the fanfares the TV cameras, I've got no Interest In footballers who are considered as being 'superstars' or whatever.
I understand our clubs financial situation and I understand what financial stability promotion to the Prem could bring.

I don't know the answer If we went up.

When we won the play off final my Journey home from WHL after Spurs used us as a training game during our first away game and kick our arses was murder, that whole season was pretty much murder.

I forgot half of what I was gonna say.!!!!!! you'll get the gist.

Working Mens Clubs/ Constitutional Clubs.
at 23:28 15 Jan 2025

Many years ago I was working for a very large mobile crane hire Company based In Didcot, I had to take a large mobile crane up to Rotherham for It's 4 year test, the testing took four days.
I was In digs somewhere on the Sheffield Road and a few of the local crane drivers talked me into meeting up at the local working Mans club, what a f ucking night and what a club, dirt cheap best bitter, disgusting Lady strippers, and seriously funny stand up comedians on the microphone, all this was on a wet and windy Tuesday night, and Wednesday night and Thursday night.
All i need to get Into the club/clubs was my Union card and as I was an AUEW Union convenor I was made more than welcome.
Those working Men's clubs were brilliant and a great place to meet people and talk bollocks.
There was a working Mans club In Didcot but I'm pretty sure It sadly got sold.
Our old Labour club In Newbury was sold to the bloody Conservatives FFS, I used to go there when there was a General election looming before the bloody Tories bought the bloody place.
I've been teetotal for bloody years now.
