First post - I was so proud of team and fans yesterday. Hope that Claude Puel gets his share of the credit - although his press conferences are uninspiring, his consistent belief in the players is clearly having an impact. He took on a tough job following a very successful season and popular manager with weaker squad (summer investment in potential), issues with Jose and a bigger workload, compounded by injuries . Although there have been ups and downs on the way we have come along way since the ponderous early performances against Watford and Sunderland - I don't think many people would have thought it possible then that we could outplay MU in the final after wins away at Arsenal and Liverpool without Jose and for two these games VVD. |
