Redknapp Cancels QPR's End-of-Season Do

"You can party 'til you drop! Redknapp cancels QPR's end-of-season do, saying 'I've got nothing to celebrate...'

PUBLISHED: 20:02 GMT, 11 May 2013 | UPDATED: 20:02 GMT, 11 May 2013

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has cancelled the club’s end-of-season party for fear of it turning nasty.

Rangers host Newcastle today, three points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Vast differences in salaries between the club’s old guard and new faces has caused splits in the camp and midfielder Stephane Mbia was fined this week by the club for apparently asking for a transfer on Twitter.

It's off! Redknapp has cancelled plans for an end-of-season do for the QPR players
Redknapp said: ‘I’ve got nothing to have an end-of-season party for.’

The 66-year-old faces the challenge of attempting to bring QPR back up the Premier League next season, but with several players on the wage bill that may need offloading, it is a tough one.

But Redknapp has already said it will be a challenge and wants to change the culture of the club by bringing in players he feels will bring a better work ethic to the dressing room, with the ex-Tottenham manager placing as much emphasis on character as ability.

'It is right up there with it for me,' he said.

'It needs to be. We need good characters like that. When I took over at Portsmouth, I brought good lads in who were just fantastic and they made the difference for me. It made the job easy.

'If you look this year, people like Clint Hill has been excellent. He is a good lad, good pro. There are people like him around. You need a good group of them and all of them pulling together.'

QPR welcome Newcastle to Loftus Road on Sunday with the Magpies still involved in the fight to avoid the final relegation place and, with Samba still unavailable, Redknapp is likely to name the same starting line-up which played against Arsenal last weekend."

Relegation yonder, again good plans ahead for overall club getting the infrastructures, good owners, reduced price ticket etc an upturn nonetheless. It would be epic!

"Exactly, and this is why it's time contracts are a bit more imaginative and results based. Give the players an incentive."

Once implemented others follow suit, "big clubs" will cease to exist all with same level of playing field. A benchmark that gauge actual talent of footballers as well as the managerial skill will take hold finally.

Suddenly, everyone will start to play more than 100%.

Harry can't do much, his hands are tied. Damaged has been done & yes, thank god it is over.

The player's becomes invulnerable due to such contract thus weird behavioral science kicks in within the whimsical opportune mind, everyone's erratic, changes in pace etc. These are the "strange things" Neville spoke of earlier.

IMO.

Mourinho "ousted" by certain key football players, so as Villas-Boas at Chelsea etc. Is the players who hold the key, their strength lies with the contract somewhat pampered invulnerable to risk by any shortcoming. Blame the contract, it's in black & white infused by governing law. Sort this one out first.

About averaging out 'income potential' for player's who does performed well by means of Loyalty Payment, Bonuses & Perk. This could somehow sort out any imbalances & avoid feeling being left out.

Try adding younger talent 26 years old below to fill up most (not all) position in coincide with Financial Fair Play where all club will enjoy near-"similar" buying power. Enough with this over 28 to 32 years old cranky-injury prone-lost of zest type.

Harry came in too late & the rifts amongst already embedded deeply. He was supposed to land the England job if not because of Hotspurs release contract clause that went against him. That's how good he is.

Lately undergone heart surgery due to overwhelming stress & this one shows how passionate he really is.

Others, bring in a head coach who walk & talk like Di Canio, Barton & there should be panel consist of fans with QPR hierarchy to assist whatever deemed of importance.

Football is up there, in fact Zeus favourite pastime.

Excerpt 'Like all cultures, football has its rituals, its customs, its deities, its language, its music, its respect for its history, its sense of identity and its urge to celebrate and demonstrate it. Football’s ultimate source of strength is its fans, the global football nation, billions strong, who live and breathe the game every minute of their lives and express through it a sense of their belonging.'

This how big football really is. And TF went on (other article, find it yourself) "... it takes 3 years for Caterham, so as QPR too." -something like that if I can remember. No, football is different.

You need to be like a Chef overseeing entiriety of restaurant from top to bottom, day in day out, blood & sweat, in short. Elect sort of "Lieutenant" that have accustomed with hardship along the way. 'Resume' can be a real sucker at times.

This is not an advise, just a thought of what the heck is really going on around.

The relegation only depicts the shortfall in certain key aspect & that goes with everyone the so called "QPR fans." LFW somewhat failed in it's true endeavour, so as the rest of QPR-inclined website TBH.

You guys are gifted with social-savvy, excellent skill & proper education but that's all, is it? IMHO

Excerpt 'It's not for us to say that people don't have sources, just that when these things are picked apart, as we often do, it would appear that some of these sources spend quite a lot of time on the sauce. And given that the infamous Rob Beal was unmasked after the Dream Football League farce, we know these things spread to even the country's very best newspapers and journalists. For every Rob Beal caught, it's easy to assume there must be a whole lot of others still feeding horse meat to hungry news outlets.'

Source: http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/lewandowski-to-manchester-united-what-

Rumour mongering enthusiast, news & source picked apart, hearsay-print-publish. What's going on?

TF need to sit down at Loftus Road move entire department i.e Air Asia, Formula One Grand Prix, Tune etc right there. Get yourself a first hand-on of event, do a penalty kick once in awhile, if clerk day dreaming throw a spear like pen or two, share cheese around during meal time & not forgetting pub visits.

Cardiff City FC is different though, Tan Sri remote controlled management from afar. No detrimental effect arise & probably never will it be. Welsh thing? Probably so.

Now I wonder who are the core administration staff that may still hold influence since Palladini era (with subtlety) around Loftus Road office? A cancer, humbly noted? Toss it off, with eagerness.

Excerpt '... got to dismantle...'

Source: http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/qpr/relegation-battle/news/gary-neville-sla

I'm about to add something that may embarrassed us all since the Victorian age.

Is there Risk Management implemented in so called QPR grand scheme of things? If however relegated (confirmed 29.04.2013), is there mechanism to soften the blow?

The answer is Yes & No. Why there is a 'NO?' This can't be right isn't it? Go figure Mr.TF. Look into their eyes & say "Why haven't you thought of this earlier, you're supposed to come up with preventive measures."

To dismantle the whole squad & INCLUDING people at the administration is what QPR fans really wanted but not the god given club owner bless him so as shareholders but advisors around him also the immediate intel circle.

A score of good people (incl. LFW operator) have kept reminding that something strange going on about. Why is it that "strange?" The whisper, voices of seed of discontent passing around infecting everyone, vision becomes blurry, the objective fell apart, any failsafe attempt deemed futile.

Yes, Loki have won & we are doomed in relegation-planar plain.

Root of problem? Barton says it all albeit in different manner.
at 04:21 29 Apr 2013

Excerpt '"Gutted for the club. To many w*****s amongst the playing staff. All brought in by (former manager Mark) Hughes.'

Source: http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1149588/

Things just went downhill for Barton in Loftus Road after Warnock left, no one seems be able to see through him. Most of us only remember his unbecoming behaviour on off field but then let me remind you it is only skin deep.

We can't ignore the work rate & his mental attitude towards match day.

Now my worry is, why Hughes didn't see this? Why club hierarchy agreed in letting him go (loan to Marseille)? Is it ignorance? Foolishness? Or simply Indian owners are easily manipulated by power hungry subordinates like what happened with Venky's currently?

A bit of controversy? Life is short, enough bush whacking.

Such clause, can be added upon? Amazing. Two advantages if implemented; 1)To lessen finance burden in salary payout. 2)If intended player refuse to sign such contract then we'll know he's in for the money only typical merc.

This could have save a lot of trouble for QPR but then, why it is not implemented earlier?

When problems down there, one must look up people at the helm & ask why? And they will give you none other than generic answers. Why Beard avoid getting head on with fans especially in club's related match performance? Because his priority lies with building a good repo with his superior instead of getting his hands down dirty & tell the truth of what's really going on. An epidemic everyone followed suit at Loftus Road.

Redknapp admits QPR dressing room is split
at 07:59 28 Apr 2013

Blatant ignorance by the owners, always looking at big picture but never the finer details. They can talk their way out in commercial dealings, in football that's a big 'NO.' One must be really into it & feel adapt the swirling cloud chaotic world of Premiership rifes with untold mischief. Rift rafts have been going on since promotion nothing has been done it even add salt into wounds by another score of big signings last January. Championship players that survive expulsion been treatment unjustly & mind you these are core players. And the word 'core' means a lot. Now Harry is bringing a some sort of Libero (nick famously potrayed by Franz Beckenbauer) found in Sheringham or Merson alike in hope to calm down the dressing room & restore order so forth. "Di Canio's" presence et al.
