"In all seriousness we could win all remaining games." Level heads prevailing. |

So who should a Swansea fan support? I see we twinned with Mannheim, whose 2 clubs are nowhere near the top league. I quite like the idea of Borussia Mönchengladbach, just because it's a long name. And I note we're twinned with Wuhan in China, that's worked out well. |
| Forum Reply | Result - BEST SWANS MANAGER IN HISTORY at 15:47 3 May 2020
"And no surprise to see that the deserved winner is : 1st John Toshack 87pts, 2nd Brendan Rodgers 65pts" I'm a bit surprised. There was a thread on here a few years ago and was under the impression that most people seemed to think Brendan was our best ever manager. At the time I favoured Toshack, and still do. |
| Forum Reply | Jimmy Greaves not well at 21:30 9 Apr 2020
I saw Jimmy Greaves play for Barnet against Bridgend Town in the Southern League back in the late 70s. A bunch of us then kids were shouting "Jimmy Greaves is an alcoholic" at him. Great striker in his day, hope he fully recovers. |

A friend of mine supports Leeds and I've taken the piss out of her for years, especially when we in the Premier. But they've underachieved for so long, now i feel sorry for them, and I hope they get promoted. |

Cricket ain't going to happen. Peak is predicted to be mid-May to June, lasting for 3 months. Possibly in lockdown (no work, no movement) by then. |

This Twitter thread summarises who the Chief Medical and Scientific Officers get their information from. Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies, Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Modelling. I'd rather trust them than random people on the internet. [Post edited 13 Mar 2020 12:47]

His ability to get in decent young loan signings was what got him the job, I guess. Pity he can't get the best out of them. Wonder who we'd have signed if we were relying on young Toshack, Leon and Curtis' contacts? |

At least Potter gave it a go when we played them last year. Monk is trying to bore everyone to death, and god knows what Cooper's tactics would be. [Post edited 4 Mar 2020 20:32]

I expect he'll be here next season. He'll get his £80,000 a week, which no other club will pay, and then get a signing-on fee when he joins his next club. |
| Forum Reply | Who would you have replace Cooper? at 10:20 12 Feb 2020
Someone out-of-work, but proven, till the end of the season. Can pay them a decent amount on a short term contract. But I doubt that'll happen. Then for next season, I agree, go for a league 1/2/lower leagues in Europe manger who plays the right way. To rebuild after this Cooper debacle. But who would choose them? Birch is a money man, so that leaves Curtis and Leon, who went for Cooper, and neither strike me as being immersed in the minutiae of lower league managerial ability. At least Jenkins got the vast majority of our appointments right. |

I'd go for Fulham and Brentford for the automatics. Though any of the top 6, and Bristol, could do it. Cardiff a bit too far adrift, and we're hopeless, so no chance. |
| Forum Reply | If Borja goes we will sign a player FOR MONEY ! at 19:09 31 Jan 2020
If there's a bit of spare cash lying around after Borja goes I'd rather we spend it on getting a director of football in to help* Cooper till the end of the season. * tell him what to do. No way is he getting the most out of the players we've got. |
