and I was already depressed. Sorry if this is a Spackman but Les is quoted on the ES website as saying, regarding FFP "We can't plan because we don't know what the punishment is going to be. We need to wait and see. "It's hard for me to comment on because I don't know what the situation is. It's an ongoing situation. The sooner it can be resolved for everyone, the better it will be. "What we can do is have some targets in mind and we have got some names of players we'd like to sign already. Once we know what the verdict is and where we're going, we will go after them." No comment needed really...our player recruitment is a hostage to the arbitration. And what does he mean by "where we're going"? |

To all those posters who since 5pm today have revealed that they knew all along about the deep seated structural deficiencies in our defence/attack/midfield plus Mark Hughes' failings as a manager plus the inadequacy of our signings. Why didn't you tell us before? Then we wouldn't have been so excited! |

A non rangers supporting mate just told me that he happened to drive past NW's house in Richmond during Saturday's game and NW was very busily and very obviously tending to his front garden.... |

Much as I love what he is doing, I don't understand how TF can simply flick a switch and his publicly quoted airline is suddenly sponsoring his private football team. Can you imagine the sh** that would hit the fan if BA suddenly decided to sponsor Willy Walsh's private football team? Conflict of interest or what......! |

My Wet Spam supporting mate says "cheer up, Flabio and Bernie aren't as bad as the Porn Barons". I say, "at least Gold and Sullivan actually support W Ham. Bernie claims to support Chelsea - how would you like a Millwall scumbag owning you?" Who is worse off? |

Go and see it, even if you don't like F1 (which I don't). It's brilliant. Interestingly in his fatal season he was convinced that Benetton were cheating by putting outlawed electronic gizmos on their cars....and the man in charge of Benetton? |

| Forum Thread | Have I missed something? at 12:48 26 May 2011
I am as gutted as everyone else that the dream of floating towards the Champions League on a cloud of Mittal money has died... but why does everyone assume that Flabio is now going to be running the show..sacking managers, picking team etc..is there any evidence that this is going to be the case? Didn't Flabio have to sell shares because of his involvement in Crashgate...fit and proper person test etc...so how could he take back control? And how could he buy the shares back without a backer/buyer who would themselves want to run things? Perhaps things aren't as bad as they seem??? |
