I appreciate that we sometimes look at the standard of Refs we have to put up with at our level feeling that sometimes they can leave a little to be desired,but a little heartened after watching the horror show by one of our top refs tonight at Goodison Park. Certainly not one of his best displays. |

On a much lighter note in view of all that appears to be evolving around our beloved club today, was a little surprised to hear Smith use an expression which to my understanding is very much a "Rochdale local expression" when he described an injury suffered by the Wolves fullback was a result of him having "Cruckled over". Did wonder how many people watching knew what he was talking about |

Just a thought on having seen that a minutes silence/applause was observed at the Spurs game last night following Rossi's untimely passing, as to whether without going into the whys and wherefores similar respect is shown in other countries to the passing of our most outstanding players as with the recent passing of Jackie Charlton and more recently Nobby Stiles who were both World Cup winners.

Interesting that 2 managers on the list have managed Dale and in my opinion were perhaps 2 of the worst that I can remember in near 70 years of following the Dale.
