We're still trying to find a formation to suite our style, when we play 4-2-3-1 we play boring short pass football, while when we play 4-4-2 we play extremely direct football, a middle point would be grand, but not complaining too much, we must be safe from relegation now!
I actually thought Henry was our MOM because he did a lot of the dirty stuff and was much better with distributing the ball to our better players.
Hill and BAE weren't particularly great today defensively, although I think BAE had one of his better attacking performances.
Good result anyways!

Another poor performance against a poor team.
No creativity and Barton was just awful, O'Neil seemed to be our only good player.
Hoillet must have hamstrings pulled together by elastic bands.

Wow what a turnaround there has been this year!
Another excellent gutsy performance from us and fair play to Jay Bothroyd, he's been written off by I think probably everyone, but was excellent last night. However I do not think he could play in the premier league, particularly now we have the god that is Remy <3
Can't see Cisse playing for us again which is a shame because he is a class finisher, but hopefully Remy will be able to work harder for the team.
Rob Green made some astonishing saves as well which reminds us that we have got two world class keepers.

What a performance! Every player played their part and worked hard for the team.
Was worried after Mackie missed that sitter and i think that effected his confidance during the game as he didn't have his best game on the ball but as always worked brilliantly off it!
Its only the start but if we can stay unbeaten until january i will be well pleased against three teams short on confidance!
Just as hout out to Mbia, met him before the game, what an absolute gentleman!

was at the game have to say i didn't think it was good as everyone was saying...
i thought we got a bit sucked into there game of hoofing it which only worked when miller came on
Coventry were poor as i expected and unfortunatly there only good player seemed to be ''cough'' Marlon King
Both new signings look quality taarabts goal was superb, as was Routledge's
referee was truly horrendous unfortunatly
strange choice by sky to put both coventry games live on sky while neither the swansea, cardiff or norwich game on |
