He's not cheap and this mystery person who thought he was the most talented of our young players back in 2014 seemed out of kilter with those of us who actually went to games. He wasn't. I guess the person who felt this was in fact Callum Chambers. Certainly that seems to be a core problem - viz everywhere he goes he thinks he is better than he is. Could he do a job for us? IMHO No, No, No, No, No. |

There may be conflicting views on it but only one correct answer. Bednarek is definitely NOT suspended for the Burnley game. Indeed given that he only has 3 yellow cards so far and has to amasss 10 by some date in March before being punished, he can get yellow carded in pretty well every game from now on with impunity. |

Its really weird how the anti-JWP crowd just cant let it lie. Why is he such a prophet without honour in his own country? Spurs fans were drooling over his excellence when we played them two weeks ago sensing danger at every corner. At least twice this season the serious football commentators have identified him as man of the match. And yet they still carp. He actually hasn't played at all badly this season but still they have to have a go. Is it because he was a Pompey fan in his early years? He would always be the first name on my teamsheet because you know you will always get a committed and hard-working performance. |
