I'm sorry, but that's just a crap take. There's plenty to criticize about the owners' mistakes over the years, but to say they have no interest? That's just not true. Also, It doesn't matter how rich you are, the amount of money they have and are putting into the club is felt.
If they didn’t care, would they really be spending on stuff like the new training ground? That’s not just a quick fix, it's investing in foundations for the club moving forward. They were also seriously looking into getting a new stadium to help us grow.
And while this season might be a dumpster fire, they are listening to the fans and moving to a more Brentford style data driven way of running things. They are attempting to bring the club into the modern age, albeit poorly.
If you want to see owners who truly don’t care, look at clubs like Scunthorpe or Reading. Those are the ones whose owners don't care. Just seems like a slap in the face to those people who's owners actually couldn't give two shits. |

Bunch of waffle this mate. If people just want a competitive domestic league, league 2 would be the most popular league in England. The premier league is so popular because its the best players and teams in the world and England competing. Who would care about the prem if Brighton and Bournemouth were fighting for the title? I personally couldn't give a shit if we came 10th in a washed up, post big 6, premier league. Why do you think you want us to get promoted, for away days at luton? The allure of the prem is it being the best league in the world, why ruin that for some greedy bastards. [Post edited 14 Mar 9:42]

I just cant get my head around why Lee Hoos leaving and new owners is suddenly the key to success. What are new owners going to do? they will still be hamstrung by the FFP that plagues us now, not like suddenly we can spend all the money in the world. These owners spend about a million a month to keep us afloat, who in the world is gonna buy this club that is bleeding money out of its arse. The only reason were in such a bad situation is becacuse they gave it all we had to try and push us over the promotion line with Austin and Johansen and such, which was so close to working. You compare these owners to some of the others in the footballing world and id be counting my lucky stars and hoping they keep writing those million pound cheques. |
