I've friends who follow Worcester. This is worrying for Morecambe if they do the same - The owners at the rugby club have sold the car parks to another company owned by themselves for £50k - true value £1 million- they've done the same with the training ground. The owe £6 million to HMRC and are looking at administration at best. The owners are heavily linked to housing development. Asset stripping most definitely. |

I am the photographer, I have the images yes. I am not a full time employee yet I probably including driving do 50 hours plus for the club each month. Editing, transferring photos etc etc that's without taking them.
The book idea is a great idea but not practical. I've got to know several photographers over the decades working for the club. Joe Dent at Peterborough is one of the best. They did a book this summer tracking their promotion season. Joe is employed full time by the club and this is the first one they have done. It has taken him hundreds of hours to put together including meetings with publishers, printers, multiple drafts etc. When I spoke to him, he said they have only done it because of the promotion and there is no guarentee it'll make money. Lets face it, the last book done by the club made a huge loss and there were copies available for years after and they couldn't give it away. We haven't the fanbase for certain ideas. Your £4300 quote is unaffordable we'd have to sell hundreds of copies at £20 just to break even after x's and over a thousand at a tenner. |

Re. Red Card. I had a different angle to everyone else pitchside. At least one foot well off the ground, studs up. Rules are thats a red. The linesman who was right near me, called red, red, into his mike, ref obviously agreed. Years ago wouldn't have been a red but now you can't get away with a challenge with at least one set of studs raised like he did. |

My school (a primary) so far (touch wood) has had no cases but the policy in mine is that if there is a positive case amongst the class or teacher then it's everyone out for 10 days from last contact. If a parent goes down then the child is out for 10 days.
If one of our cover teachers (who have to take classes in visors) goes down then the whole school is out.
Mind you we suspect that Covid came through the school in February -
In February two children came back from China - ten days later their classes were decimated by a mystery virus, cough, temperature etc. 90% of both classes off plus another 40% of the school off. Public Health England informed at the time, and no interest. That is until earlier this month where someone put 2 and 2 together and got in contact asking adults to do t-cell tests at some point. |
