FA Cup Match Thread: Bromley

Congrats to Rochdale on a convincing win. . Bromley went at their best and the gulf between the clubs showed. Penalty was a soft decision but can see why it was given. And the ref card ? . Definitely the right decision. So it's back to the National League.

But it was s great day for Bromley and their supporters, especially as they are in the highest league they have played in , and Rochdale are the highest league standing ciub played.

It was great to see Mcnulty come over and applaud the Brom supporters.

I would assume he would be travelling to a game like this . They are great book as you say , i was going to the Bromley games in the season 1969/1970 mentioned in the Bromley Boys . Not the best season lol

There was another book " 32 Programs" also a good read

I used to live in Middleton , and worked in Bury . Local rivals I believe . Always enjoyed the odd trip to Spotland then .

Rochdale is ,I believe , the highest team in terms of league position, the Bromley have played so really looking forward to it . n fact Bromley are playing in the highest league they have been in .

As for how many fans ??.... I would hazard a guess at 200 give or take a number . Normal away support is usually a core of 75-100 .

The result , who knows , Rochdale must start as favourites, but this is the cup so who knows . As long as it a good game also .

I see that the bars as Spotland are open to away supporters..... see you there

Rochdale vs Bromley

Hello .

Travelling to Rochdale next week and I was wondering if anyone could answer a couple of questions . The last time I was a Spotland , many moons ago, there was a pub right next door to the ground , is it still there ?? .

and also there as a great fish and chip shop opposite the stand , again is that still there ??

Looking forward to the game next week .
