Redmond surpassed his usual crapnesss. He was utterly diabolical, couldn't shoot, couldn't tackle, couldn't hold the ball. I wonder whether Ralphy's judgement is totally shot to pieces now. Redders shouldn't be anywhere near a prem squad.

Decent performance against limited but game opposition. Great to see Tella get his first goal. Redmond was truly awful and should be dropped.

I think the comments about Redmond are too generous. Apart from maybe 1 or 2 games he's played like that all season. He makes Minamina look world class. Please sell him provided anyone would be foolish enough to buy him.
Hope Tella can kick on from this game& he's given more opportunities.

Good performance. Some nice last ditch tackles. Fluid play. Excellent substituting by Ralph. Theo showed why we should sign him for 2 seasons. Not sure we need Minamino to stay.

Good game against limited opposition. Apart from a few brief spells we never really looked in any danger.

Great to see Tella get his first goal. What a smile on his face!

Salisu really should play every week now. Minamino was good but as he won't be here next year, Tella should now start.

I don't get the extreme Redmond criticism, he performed at the same level as most of the team.

Just a shame we weren't playing at Wembley.

Fulham play the ball around nicely but fortunately are toothless up front. Cavalho looks useful though. Another decent team performance. Leeds will be a sterner test but back to back wins have been welcome. Highlight of the game was the smile that lit up St. Mary’s when Tella scored his goal. So pleased for him and hopefully that will be the first of many. Excellent all round performance from Adams today but overall it’s good to see us putting in solid team performances again. Nice to see Ralph smiling again too!

I simply cannot understand why the lightweight Minamino and the perpetually wasteful Redmond played ahead of Tella. They should both have been off at halftime. Prolonging their time on the pitch could've cost us dearly when at 2-0 we started to stutter. Ralph responded but, leaving Redmond on for 90 minutes was criminal. Djenepo couldn't have played any worse. We'll always struggle in the EPL with a couple of passengers. Nice to see Stephens doing what he does best bringing the ball out of defence instead of playing one of his characteristic wayward passes.

Did Redmond realize we were in red shirts because he passed more to the opposite team than us.Overall we got the result we wanted but still at times made hard work of it.Refs in the Premier league have to the worst no wonder they don’t pick any for the World Cup games

A good win in a typically end of season game with nothing at stake.

Lots of disappointment and frustration early on and we were particularly let down by outside men. Reddy didn't look interested and was last, Minny wanted extra touches and was too light weight.

JWP showed them how to put in a cross, when setting up Adams for the opener. Then KWP showed them too, setting up Tella. Then Sub Walcott showed them both where the goal is with our 3rd.

A shame we conceded, but then again, we usually do. It was another gift, with slack work from the midfield and Stephens switching off and getting wrong side. Wasn't impressed with McCarthy either. He only had 1 ball to catch in the first half, but dropped it and was then very hesitant in the 2nd half.

A win but we need to be more energetic and enthusiastic for the fans v Leeds on Tuesday evening.

Whoever said above that they couldn't understand the criticism of Redmond must have had a blindfold on. Redmond normally plays like crap, but this was extreme even for him. Pretty much all of his passes were to Fulham players, he shot straight at defenders several times, he lost a bucketload of challenges that should have been his and was knocked off the ball a bunch of times. Saints' attacks just basically come to nothing when the ball reaches him in the last quarter of the field.
With Redmond, Walcott and Minamino all playing similar roles, we've had no joy. There isn't really a case for any of the three being in the side next year (or even Tuesday), but I bet at least 2 of them are.
I'm usually unimpressed by Stevens, but he had one of his better games.

Agree with all the comments about Redmond, looks like we are going to have to carry him for some time. Good to see Tella on the scoresheet and Salisu growing in confidence all the time. I thought Stephens played well today with one good timed tackle in the box and he looked good going forward. Minamino tried hard again but is still too lightweight for me. Good performance for a dead rubber game. Leeds will be more of a test on Tuesday.

Didn't watch the game but good to hear Stephens getting positive appraisal. He's like Alan Hansen playing from the back just wish he was tighter on the defensive side of his game. I'd love him make a cb position his own on merit as he could become a bit of a legend if he just relaxes and cuts out the lapses.

3 goals in successive games is a positive but Leeds will be a real test during the week.

Redmond has passed its expire date, he is really a liability for tge saints. we should ship him out in this transfer window. this may do some help to save his career.
