Waste of space for 95% of every game. game after game I watch his performance and bar a bit of decent pace, the very odd goal he brings nothing to the table for me. No invention, no trickery, no skill, dog shit first touch and pretty much non existent in every other way..... There I said it!

fair enough, trouble is finding a townsend, we couldn't afford one and to be honest do we have the patience if we took a'flyer' on similar? Remember he was loaned out a lot before his breakthrough (in fact a bit like Scotty and WR) Still ML is the man to find one ala Michu (depending on how long ML stays himself)

For God's sake. No one "found" or unearthed a wonderboy. The facts are that no one else who was offered Michu wanted him. Just got lucky at the bottom of the pile. Does anyone REALLY think that Swansea was his first choice. FFS

Thomas Ince if we wanted to push the boat out in Jan.Zaha if no ones's come in for him.Jermaine Pennant is the best crosser of a ball in the PL.There are options we could pursue.

Ince and Zaha will both command big money hence Zaha already at Man U and Ince probably to a 'bigger' team (Spurs?) Pennant? he is an excellent crosser of a ball granted, but then would that fit with ML's narrower style of play? Does he fit team/defensive/character wise? Easy this management lark.

We could do with another winger anyway.

Routledge and Dyer are both capable but we could probably upgrade on both. Hernandez is potentially the best of the lot but needs to stay fit (and in form) more often. Lamah might as well not be here.

A loan move for someone like Zaha as a temporary fix before bringing in someone on a permanent basis in the summer would be ideal.

Hallelujah!!

This is spot on. The amount of ball and space that Dyer and Routs have - if you gave that to a half decent winger they'd surely produce more.

I'm struggling to remember when our wingers actually ran at a defender and beat him with a bit of trickery - we seem to pass ourselves beyond defenders these days. Nothing wrong with that of course, except then they can't produce a decent final ball anyway!

Been bugging me for a while this - hopefully get an addition in in Jan but I won't hold my breath as I don't think we have any money!

Oh hey! It's PICK A SCAPEGOAT TIME!!!

And this is after we won!

Un-fecking-believable!

Routledge is a good player - stop putting him down. All of our players have off days - 95% is a steep exaggeration don't you think?!

Agreed.
Incredible that last season he could have been player of the year.
Just as you say - some idiots have to have a scapecoat
