Hey guys
Just wanted to inform you that we have formed a supporters club for Swansea City in Iceland. English football is incredibly popular in Iceland and there are fan clubs here for all the big clubs.
Since I have become a great Swansea fan I thought it would be right to form a supporters club and try to gather all the Swansea fans in Iceland and create a bigger fan base. There are only 320.000 people living in Iceland but we have great passion for football and it's my goal to make Swansea one of the more popular clubs in Iceland over the coming years. 
About me personally, my name is Thordur (Þórður in icelandic) and I am one of the founders and the president of the club. |  |

I was just stating that the English Premier League is really popular in Iceland. (could have said it clearer) 
But I think that Swansea has more fans in Iceland than any other welsh club. (even though Cardiff's Gunnarson is Icelandic haha)
But we hope to be able to come to a home game this season, that would be awesome. | |

It'd be great to see you here, fantastic to have fans from around the world, you're already getting the hang of slagging Cardiff that's good i know a lot of Scandinavians support Liverpool etc, ( I know the Scandinavian and Nordic thing is a debate) so the more the merrier, however to be initiated into the welsh fold you must have sexual relations with a sheep before you visit our country  keep up the good work sir | |

In Iceland Man.U and Liverpool are by far the biggest clubs. But I never supported a club until I fell for Swansea.
It's funny that one of the supporters club's co-founder is an old Arsenal fan but he just can't help loving Swansea. I can't blame him for having become tired of Arsenal
