the grey haired sub (no.15) was down on the team sheet as Phil Edwards but he's actually called Luke Holden. lad on left wing late on (No.18) is Godwin Abadaki's brother. Liam Irwin (no.6) is Denis Irwin's lad.

Cheers for that, useful in the absence of a line-up or report appearing anywhere but on here yet.

I thought their left back (second half) was the best player on the park. Crainey looked a footballer and he did ok, but he is a little thick around the waist.

Of the triallist I think Pearson, Liam Irwin, Puteril, Crainey and Crompton did enough to be worth another look, maybe not a long look but still a look.

One positive that took from game was that we had a lot of leaders at the back, Bennett, Byrne and Lillis never shut up organising the defensive line, a lot of communication going on.

I would agree with that HD I thought both Byrne and Bennett did well and despite there tender years would be ok with them being 1st choice. I actually liked the fact when it came to distribution of the ball they always tried looking for a dale shirt rather than the stand.

puterill, irwin number 6 the center mid, 11 winger looked good players

craney looked very good hitting the bar and should of won us the most blatant penalty !

the strikers all on show were **** e

number 15 left footed scouser put some good balls in and played well

i'm sure there's a few others

that gele and number 17 in the second half were really woeful.

as for radcliffe, sign up their very tidy left back in the second half and the player who scored both goals

I was impressed by their right winger, Chadwick. A winger running at the defense. It always causes panic. Oh, wait a minute, he was running at Jordan. No contest there, the winger will always win. Why is he still wearing a Dale shirt!
