roccydaleian - top bloke.

And PDIDDY as well.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Also had a 'reet good natter with Fred Trueman.

Fran Cotton
Tommy Smith

George Courtney was running the line at Dale one night as practice ahead of the 1990 World Cup. Our brief conversation centred around why, as a ball boy, I had to peg down the nets and shouldn't someone at the club have done it properly first.

That's when I spoke to him and the game was featured in last Tuesday's TVOS.

I literally bumped into Mike Atherton as I came out of the gents in the pavilion at Old Trafford. He'd just been caught hooking against South Africa, and looked none too pleased! I did wonder why he was going into the public loo though...

That was the match when Dale were offside just inside the opposition's half and George didn't realise, until it was volubly pointed out to him, that if it is offside how come you are allowing the opposition to take the free kick 5 yards inside Dale's half! Fortunately, after best advice, he realised the errror of his ways and the ball was repspotted in the opposition's half.

Darren Campbell
Sinitta from coronation street (not that I care)
Steve Eyre
An old washed up American actor came to my house for Christmas dinner once with her Daughter, apparently they were good friends with Alan Rickman and her daughter had been asked out by Daniel Radcliffe.
Saw Noel Fielding in Manchester once just walking along (his nose is bigger in real life)
I met someone who was introduced to me as a Manchester United Legend, the guy was pretty old and Scottish but that's all I remember, and it wasn't Fergie.
My Dad once met Barry Chuckle in a bar in Las Vegas
Cyril Smith went to school with my Granddad
Sir Peter Ogden used to work for my Grandma
Ant and Dec once tried to pronounce my name on TV as they chose to read my question out that I had sent in :)

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

We're counting Eyre? In that case I'll add him, safe in the knowledge my grasp of tactics was better than his.

I used to live next door to Gareth batty and Matt mason - Worcestershire cricketers. Matt is an Aussie and had Shane Warne amongst other Aussie test players over for the stereotypical BBQ one ashes summer. Very bizarre having a beer with them and worcs players such hick and solanki

John Virgo signed a betting slip for me. Still not sure who was the most pissed up. Don't even like snooker. Sound bloke.

Gordon Ramsey (at the boxing) got his autograph and my dad piped up "he only cooks stuff"

Phil Taylor = Tosser

Hatton - sound bloke

Steve Eyre - picking up his backhander for relegating you lot.
