Just saw the name of Kurt Bakholt on another thread. I saw his one and only cameo for the R's. What other players have made just one first team appearance?

Taylor Richards?

Kurt Bakholt - I was there too - didn’t a Man City fullback kick him to pieces?

Who was it came on in injury time as a sub away at Reading in about 2002? Never touched the ball and never played for us again. Two minutes tops.

Ex Wimbledon player, his name totally escapes me now.

Just came back to me: Carl Leaburn.

Ned "versatile as an egg" Zelic?

Didn't we buy a footballer from Sunderland Richard Orr or something like that, who played one game then got injured and that was that. Career over.

Ademole Bankole. Came on as sub against Crewe I think (could be wrong on that one). I was there.

Richard Ord. Didn’t make it out of pre-season, zero competitive appearances.

I was going to say John O’Neill. After 313 appearances for Leicester he made two for us and one for Norwich; John Fashanu ended his career in the first half of his debut, and had to pay compensation after O’Neill took him to court.

Ord, that's the one. Poor guy. Was a good buy then that was that.

Deshane Dalling. Came on for about 2 minutes in an FA Cup game, Warburton was manager, when we beat Swansea 5-1.
Now playing for Phoenix Sports in the Isthmian South East League.

Nope. Released back in 2022, before Ainsworth.

On 19th April 2005 both Scott Mulholland and Lewis Hamilton came off the bench for us at Burnley. Neither were ever seen again.

In September 2005 Matthew Hislop started at Leicester, came off with a suspected broken ankle and that was that for him as a footballer.

Lee Brown came on for Tamas Priskin at Oakwell in 2010 then went on to play nearly 300 games for Bristol Rovers.

Georgios Tofas, one appearance, for Warnock, against Norwich, in 2011.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I so wanted him to be good and become Captain.

Josh Bowler away at Norwich last game of season. Somewhere between Warnock and the Pandemic. Or so I’m told; I spent most of the game, pint in hand, doing keepy-uppy’s with a balloon. And I wasn’t the only one.

I always assumed that we played him in that game to activate some appearance clause that increased his transfer money which was relatively high.
