January Transfer Thread 13:27 - Dec 23 with 124403 views | KeithHaynes | Done some asking and Oli McBurnie is most certainly up for a loan back to the UK this window. I’ve been told four Championship clubs are interested. This will all fall on the fee’s involved plus he is on in the region of €36,000 a week. Big numbers but we know how these things can be negotiated. Do we have the money ? Yes. P&S will need to be positive and only the club really know where we are with that at this moment in time, It won’t be massively healthy. Oli has played fourteen games for Las Palmas this season with no return. He has never been a prolific striker, but could he settle into Luke’s team ?

That's a good point he can't be registered to two clubs or can he, if he's registered in two different countries?

If his registration changes hands then he's not joining outside of the window.

I guess it's not technically a recall if the dates are included in the initial agreement. Something is ringing a bell somewhere where this has been done before, although I might be wrong. [Post edited 29 Jan 22:15]

Unless things have changed, I think it's just a keeper if it's classed as an emergency

the only way i can see this squad being improved is if the club brings in some loan guys, not ideal but if it keeps us in this div untill the summer ok at least 5 are needed including replacements for grimes and darling ( hope we could keep him on a tidy contract) if they go plus some sorly needed reinforcements to spread the work load across an all ready the thinnest squad we have had in recent times am still HOPING the new board will suprise us but just cannot see it with a big game saturday and just a few days of the window left, can anyone?

It feels like other recent windows, we move people out and then struggle to get people in. It's a good job it's not chess we are playing!

I seriously hope not. He is older and worse than Grimes
