QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread 12:27 - Dec 19 with 27084 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | OK, here we go again, match thread 4! Does it feel like we have been playing Preston for an eternity? Will John Inman be crying into his Cosmopolitan at the end of the game? Will QPR continue to grind out the wins to keep us all in the Christmas spirit? The Ancient Alien Astronaut theorists say 'YES' again! A week off, key players back, and a 3pm KO. Preston also 1 win in 11, I think, but loads of draws. 2-0 Rangers (if we turn up). 100% Achilles unfortunately
QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 15:52 - Dec 21 with 2615 views | SherryHoop | Very disappointing. Played well and should have gone ahead, then faded and terribly unlucky to lose Cook of all people and concede as a result of it. We'll do well to get something out of this. Need some leaders to step up as Cook with be out for a long time. Serious lack of something in the middle of the park.

QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 15:54 - Dec 21 with 2517 views | Malintabuk | This is where Marti is going to have to earn his corn. Not sure how he is going to do it, but he as somehow going to have to lift this team The Paal miss really paled into insignificance compared to losing Cook and conceding from it. Kolli possibly our best player that half, but they all look flat and they all looked shell shocked... Basically a rotten half and not sure if they can come back

Looked that way, but we've had mis-diagnoses before. If it's an achiles rupture it's highly unlikely he'll be back this season. Need to get rooting around for some loose change for January.

We've played well in patches, definitely.

QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 15:57 - Dec 21 with 2348 views | davman | Paal misses an open goal. Yet I scapegoat him. Useless t0sser. Saito well off it; doesn't like the physical attention. Cook damaged leading to the only time we looked in danger and, naturally they scored. Woodman's worldy (because of course - he will never do a Dykes here again). Kolli running gamely, but up against it. We're playing ok, but look totally devoid when we get to their third. Jimmy Dunne header still the most likely. **sigh** Merry Xmas!

Yeah, Cook was just bloody awful luck, however, why are we playing toblerone football (unsuccessfully i may add) in our back third of the pitch. I'm soiling myself every time we pass it about at the back. 3-1 to the Rsssss with Prest getting 2 sent off in the second half.

We’ve the come back kings this season. We’ve been dead and buried so many times and quite often it’s Cook that’s lead the revival so let’s be wildly optimistic. Win today and Cook back in a couple of weeks. 🎅🎅🎅

One of the only players we could not afford to lose and not just the cruel injury but giving up the goal rubs salt into the wound .Best wishes to SC its a year out at least I fear . 3 straight games including 2 at home and we play the first half sleepwalking and looking like we never played together before FFS. 2 jimmy Dunne headers (one he should have scored ) is all we have its not close to good enough. Why keep booting the ball up to Koli its a waste of time and what a wan*er the ref is giving him zero protection We can still salvage this but Frey needs to be on and Chair too .
QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 16:02 - Dec 21 with 2099 views | rbee | Fingers crossed for Cookie and it is not as bad as we fear. I think Paal was a little surprised that the ball reached him but nevertheless they kick footballs virtually every day of their lives!! Referee needs to start booking Preston players for their cynical fouls. Preston are another bang average Championship side so it is up to us to get at them and get back in the game. Lets do this for our Captain.
QPR v Not Preston again Match Thread on 16:03 - Dec 21 with 2042 views | SteveB | The most "QPR" of a QPR, 1st half that, should have scored 2/3, lost our best defender & conceded in the worst possible way. We'll probably end of with nothing at all today I feel. Hope Cooky is ok, looked bad. Don't really care much now if we do go on to lose. Gutted for Cook.

Considering we're at home and up against one of the slowest backlines in the league, our inability to get the likes of Smyth and Saito on the ball and in behind to any notable effect is both baffling and infuriating. Varane also seems to have retreated to some kind of sweeper, while making Field occasionally chase balls down the line and into the corners is an exercise in futility. It's not very inspiring, is it? They've had one shot on goal, and scored with it, and so have we, and we haven't. Answers on a postcard, addressed to Marti, the home dressing room.

Apart from being a lovely smiley chap... I'm not sure what all the fuss about Saito is TBH.Losing our leader is going to cost us I'm afraid. Any chance that sick note JCS will ever grace us with his presence again? One step forward...two back as ever 🙄
