The I voted labour and want to apologise thread. 04:14 - Nov 23 with 3897 views | mangohilljack | This space is dedicated to issuing an apology to the people of Great Britain—those whose lives have been jeopardised, the pensioners deprived of adequate heating, the homeless and veterans repeatedly overlooked, and the medically injured who have been callously ignored by a government that shows no regard for their welfare. We are witnessing what may be the most disastrous government in living memory—one that appears to despise its own people and actively contributes to the decline of a once-great nation. If you voted Labour, we invite you to reflect and express your apologies below.

The I voted labour and want to apologise thread. on 12:14 - Nov 28 by controversial_jack | Why would Labour want to take on the Unions, they are not Conservatives, they would rather work with them. The NHS is extremely efficient for a huge organisation. It has far less management to staff compared to most private companies. Yes, it has problems due to insufficient funding. Most tourists have private medical insurance , just as we would have when going overseas. When you say the private wealth creating sector who I presume you mean the farmers. Those whingers just want to avoid paying inheritance tax that the rest of us will have to pay at a higher rate As for NI employer contributions, i would prefer that to increased employee contributions |
Labour don't negotiate with unions they just cave in to their masters demands. The NHS is notoriously inefficient and always has been. Less than a third of their staff are Doctors and Nurses. Anyone who knows anything about the NHS will confirm it. The NHS makes little or no effort to make foriegn visitors pay for their treatment. I do not mean farmers I mean business. It is they that create jobs and wealth. The civil servants do not create wealth they just waste it. No one wants to pay more tax to fund labour fantasy schemes. Why should only one sector pay for them.

The Tories are bought and sold by rich white men. Labour represents the working man via organised labour. South Wales coalfields played a proud role in creating the NHS. We have seen the mining disasters of unfeterred private unregulated mining. No more. Civil servants pay their taxes so there is that.

Your comment about Labour a party for the working man is quite risible., ask Starmer what the definition of working person is then he couldn't answer the question without blustering, the leader of the same Labour party which closed more mines than Maggie did. You believe its only Tories whom are bought and sold ( by the way you do coloured people an injustice by excluding them in your post), remember Lord Ali , a socialist Lord ,when f did that become a thing. The same Labour party which has targeted the most vulnerable in our society by withdrawing assistance in helping pay for fuel, ignoring the wealthiest, the farming community by ( now withdrawn this week thank god for some sense , there must be Sennedd elections soon ) blackmailing them into growing more trees instead of vital crops , people moan about the country being dependant on imported energy but little if nothing about imported food, food we could very well grow ourselves but choose not too by imposing ridiculous policies. The Torys have an awful lot to answer for but to paint Labour as if they're saints is naïve.

I view matters thus I see the Tories as insouchiant jerks too often enjoying the class warfare raining down on them As for Labour, they are light years away from Keir Hardie and his outlook. Whenever political parties use that term, “ working class” ,they are looking to pigeon people and keep them in a drawer only to be opened when they say . However, they’ve ditched that term, quite cynically, and obviously ,prefering the totally nebulous “ working people” That we ,as a populace ,swallow this shames us,each and every one . Labour looks after working people and the Tories look after the rich . Innit Yeah baby

You only have to look at Starmer’s long client list of terrorists and paedophiles from his days as a ‘human rights’ lawyer to see who’s side he’s on. He claimed he had to take those cases because of the cab rank rule which states a barrister has to take the first case that comes along if you’re not already busy. But there was a quote from an ex colleague that stated if Starmer had a cab it would be permanently parked outside Finsbury Park Mosque

It’s strange that Starmer’s diary was always free to take up these cases. More often than not on a pro bono basis. It’s amazing he ever got paid at all…

You may have wandered a little off track here. The use of the term coloured …. Google says …… It is "much better" to use the word black, says Show Racism the Red Card. "There are lots of rumours that cause people to feel uncomfortable about saying black, but as a descriptive term it is absolutely fine, and is a term that has been chosen by and is used by black people." And I never mentioned Starmer in my post. If you are saying the House of Lords needs closing down i agree with you. Yes indeed the Tories have a lot to answer for. I am still hoping Johnson will be jailed.

He's as decent a person as you'll find anywhere and if I needed a barrister and he was available, I'd consider myself lucky to have him.
