5 Things From Manchester City 10:14 - Oct 28 with 1392 viewsSaintNick

1. City fans in the ground were arrogant and abusive, they do not have the common touch, that they once boasted about.

2. In fairness the ones in the pub after were ok and seemed to be caught between pleased to be winning trophies after years in United's shadow, but not happy with the way it is happening and bored by the one sided ness of it all.

3. Manchester is not the greatest of places, very run down in most of the areas we went through.

4. Some good pubs in the city centre, but they are all very spread out.

5. Easy to get to the ground from the City using the tram, they were very frequent and not that packed because of that, even at 2.30 pm

It must be very boring to be a City fan 90% of the time.

Strikes me that it is only the games against Liverpool, Arsenal and United that they can be bothered to get interested in.

Even the Champions League is boring for them until they get to the final stages.

Many of them must pine for the days of Shaun Goater and Paul Dickov.

I’d embrace boredom to win things.

Even a game the way it’s going.

Man City have become the epitomy of corporate, out of touch, arrogant, cheating, above the law, untouchable football destroyers with fans who have become arrogant, threatening g!ts. I would take supporting Saints over that, any day of the week.

They are joined by the other elite clubs Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Man United (who I am loving seeing in the bottom half of the table).

One club I have missed out is Arsenal. I hope they win the league above the others. Their fans were decent when I went there and it would be good to see another side win it. But I.suspect City will win it again.

Since most Man City games these days end up as little more than exhibition matches, they should really be re-named the 'Haaland Globetrotters'.

Yeah there's a huge problem with Spice in manchester, i'd go up there pretty regularly not long ago for work and watched it take hold. Really genuinely sad watching it happen.

Saying that i still think Manchester is hands down the best city in the north, even though it's rough round the edges nowhere else can touch it for nightlife, and compared to Liverpool it's leagues ahead for quality of pubs, music venues, clubs and food.

I'd say the only two other northern places that come close are Sheffield and Newcastle to be honest

The whole stadium complex is outstanding and will only get bigger. And shows why most clubs will never get anywhere in the league.

Outside before the game they were interviewing families _where are you from, Bristol, Plymouth, Dublin, Cardiff, Sheffield, Mexico!!! Not one from Manchester, all on their first trip!!

Never seen so many Half and Half scarves before.

All direct trains back cancelled, so had to go via Euston. Underground staff said tickets did not allow travel on underground so pay £2.50 , many did, but a lot just busted the gates open and did the same at Waterloo.

The game was quite a bore
