I've just been reminded that a JD and Coke at Elysée Montmartre in 2010 at an Epica gig was 13 Euros!!! Luckily I was sozzled when I arrived.

Here in Spain they like to drink half pints, I don't know if the maths are the same

I’m a miserable sod so simply won’t buy beer or drinks at an in venue bar. Outrageously over priced and I’ll happily bring in a cool bag with some sandwiches with my lad.

Went to see a show at The Sphere in Vegas (incredible) and found a new record, $19 for a 24oz can of Coors Light. I used to work in the industry and I know for a fact that in the US the distributor has to sell the same product to the different customers for the same price. So the venue paid the same amount for that $19 can as the store down the road that's charging $3 for it did. All profit for the venue.

It's the wages. How much would you expect to earn to make it worth your while to sell beer for about 1 1/2 hours , on a weekend, once a fortnight? People have to be paid over the odds to do it. |
We employ about 2000 people at QPR, couldn't we redirect existing employees with nothing to do on match day?
