After watching the turgid display on Saturday where our passing out from the back left much to be desired I do wonder what additional business we shall do. For me the following should be done transfer wise and current squad wise
Sell Willock for a nominal fee and a percentage of any future sell on fee as the man is a husk of his former self and was an absolute waste of space for the 60 mins he was on the pitch (i bet I was not the only one in the ground hoping his calf had gone when he stretched for the ball)
Look to bring in an impactful youthful winger from premiership or abroad for no loan fee who actually has some pace and can cross a ball (Smyth's crossing has got better at his crossing )
Continue to give EDB a chance in midfield. In recent times he is the only midfielder that is taking the ball from the back and pushing on with it.
Consider playing Chair in the Dykes role behind the Sinclair so he get more involved in the game and potentially play either Paal or Larkecbe as the attacking left midfielder and left back.
Practice attacking set pieces so they beat the first man and look for alternatives to Paal and Chair taking them as they have been poor recently

It's probably well known around all the clubs he's not the player he once was so can't really see anyone wanting to buy him even for a nominal fee and if wages were lower than what he's on now he'll just see out his contract here.

Willock would also need to agree to any such deal. All indications are that he would NOT.

What will probably happen we sell DDC (Dunne, Dykes and Chair) in the last 5 minutes of the transfer window say it's FFP - then get relegated on goal difference and have to consider the whatiffery in league one next year.
