Not been on here much - taking a break from football - on line and refereeing!
Meanwhile..... someone who has always sent me emails and vice versa now can't send any to me but receives mine OK. he's tried sending from laptop and phone and i've tried checking my end as well.
Odd thing is when someone hits "Reply to all" when he has sent one I see his email and address perfectly fine.
Any ideas?
Happy for any technical experts to PM me if you need anymore info!
Thanks all - look forward to being back on here once the season starts to discuss the merits of Manning, handballs and offsides once more

Difficult to pinpoint without precise details (which mail system you're using, if it's personal or company emails, if its internal or external mail, whether other folk receive his emails, what type of email address he's mailing, etc.). However, typical causes are:
(1) You've accidentally blocked him. To resolve remove his email address from your blocked list.
(2) His email has been inadvertently marked as spam. Check your Spam/Junk folder, locate his email and mark it as 'Not Spam'.
(3) He is sending emails to a group address and you are missing from the group. For example, if your company uses group addresses such as refs@company.com, check with the sender if you're a member of that group. If not, he'll have to add your specific email address to the email each time or request that IT add you to the group.
(4) The email contains an attachment which your email server is rejecting.
(5) He is simply using the wrong email address for you (unlikely as he would have received a failure to send notification).

If your friend can find one of the messages that failed to send and extract the trace or the header I may be able to assist further.
PM it to me if you want, probably best not to post that up here. You'll need his expressed consent to send it to some mug on a football forum. I do work in IT and I do adhere to GDPR rules where applicable so there is that

If he is sending from a non gmail address and yours is a gmail address it could be an email security issue. We had a nightmare sending to gmail addresses as they all bounced back for this reason.
Was going to suggest he checks his antivirus but that would affect all of his outward mail. So just to be clear, he can email everyone but you and that happens on a PC/Laptop and the phone? It has to be a setting in his client (that is on both) that is specific for your email address, IE he's blocked you.
I'm assuming he is trying to reply to an email you have sent him to cut out any chance of him mistyping your email address?
Are his emails to you sitting in his outbox?

Both replies and new emails to me seem to be 'rejected' - his word.
Don't know about the Outbox, I'll ask.
Thanks again all

Presumably he can send mails to other people so it's not that all his combined emails are exceeding the mail file limit and causing the system to prevent him sending any more?
