We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 19:53 - Apr 30 with 3115 views | ElijahK | And he’s right, as what he’s said below just sums up how most fans think (although wether they blame it on the manger or players varies)… “We are in some positions at the moment lacking quality, this is not only for the players who have started but also for the players that are coming on.” “They are far away from the level they have shown and this is the reason why we are not good enough to play what we have shown.” "This is what we are lacking at the moment, Broja is not the same like he has been a few months ago. This is the difference at the moment.“ “We haven’t been exposed, we had fresh players on the pitch and we had a situation where a guy gets the ball around the box with four players around him and can still turn and shoot into the corner,” “I can speak about everything, the shape — the key is that we hardly win games when you concede two goals and that is a fact, and what is different from other home wins this season.” But at least these points above show that he is seeing what we all do, and that he’s just as fed up as we are. I just hope that this new owner listens and that Ralph does get his message across to them, as many players just don’t have the quality that you need in the prem, and the few who do, some loose due to one reason or another and just aren’t the same, hence why they’re just soo poor.

We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 20:18 - Apr 30 with 3070 views | Saintsforeverj | I must say that I expect also more from my guys coming on," he added. "This is what we are lacking at the moment. Broja is not the same like we have seen a few weeks and months ago. He isn't giving what we expect. And this is a difference in a moment. It is very, very hard to take. But it is a real thing that when we can take a step, we fail. There is a reason why we do it, maybe because we are not good enough. And this is what we have to change in the future" Bad man management or is Ralph right? Broja is.not trying his best? [Post edited 30 Apr 2022 20:19]

We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 20:26 - Apr 30 with 3056 views | PatfromPoole | It was blindingly obvious that Palace had a really strong bench today, and that we needed to be at least 2 goals ahead when they started making subs. It was only actually 1-1. Palace were terrible for the first hour, and what cost us the game was that we didn’t make the most of that. Partly because both Che and Shane were just awful. And I am normally defensive of both of them.

We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 20:34 - Apr 30 with 3029 views | Ron11 | Let's not forget here that this same team won at Tottenham and beat Arsenal. Yes of course they could do with a couple of players but it's not all their fault. How about some motivation and a bit of inspiration from the sidelines instead of publicly knocking the players? Maybe the manager is not good enough, too.

Maybe Ron, but are you really saying grown men on 100 grand a week need Ralph to motivate them to try their best and put in a few tackles? Ralph is right isn't he, when 4 Saints defenders stand there and watch as Zaha has a free shot on goal unchallenged? Can't one of them put a tackle in, without the manager doing a motivational speech? [Post edited 30 Apr 2022 20:40]

The manager didnt give the ball away cheaply like Che that led to the first goal and didn’t allow Zaha to get his shot away. We have seen these same players put in decent shifts against quality teams. Today they were poor and didn’t match Palace for effort and imagination.
We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 20:48 - Apr 30 with 2980 views | saint68 | The players obviously want rid of him, hence the lack of intensity and commitment..he can't motivate them. So fuk him off. His bizarre decisions have basically fuked the players off.. If he is in charge next season we will get relegated.

But back then we had more to play for, and the players themselves actually cared more and were perfuming at a much better/higher quality than they did today

Bednarek should have done so much better with their winner nowhere near strong enough or close enough

I think Salisu was worse as he just stood back and watched until Zaha was about to shoot and tried to block it but was basically irrelevant as he was behind Bednerak, so might as well have not been there for how little of a difference he made in that situation

He obviously has no man management skills at all. Add that to his baffling starting line ups, tactics and substitutions that are far too late and there you have it. The list is endless....I'll make a start. Insisting in playing McCarthy when it was so obvious he was struggling Playing right footed Kyle Walker Peters on the left, leaving out Perraud (who has become a class player) Not playing Stuart Armstrong on merit just because they fell out over his 'shape' or tactics. Changing everything after West Ham (why?). Suddenly Broja is not seeing the ball anymore, but he publicly blames him for the goals drying up. Starting PREMIERSHIP games with a 36 year old striker, Shane Long. Persisting with Djenepo for far too long until even he was found it too embarrassing. Seen many many times on games shown on TV shaking his head and cursing in a blatant show of disgust at his players if a goal is missed or they concede...(poor man management, berate them behind closed doors, not in public). And so on...

I agree that Forster has been better than McCarthy, but at the end of the day Forster’s not been world class ether and has cost us in the last two games. And playing KWP as a left back rather than a right back ain’t made a difference as he played both left and right when we were on that great run, and the exact same when we were on the poor run, and he only left out Partaud due to how good Livermento started off as. So he’s got a fair point of why he did that and how little difference it made anyway. Not playing Armstrong was originally because he was injured, but why he didn’t directly come in when he was back, yeah I agree wasn’t correct, but in the end he did play him after a while and has played him consistently since. And no hr didn’t change much after West Ham, he changed it after we had poor results following that game, as that’s what you tend to do when things aren’t going how you want them to. And yeah Broja has been soo poor recently, so has a right to criticise him, as even if he ain’t getting amazing service, just one goal in basically all games since the start of January certainly ain’t good enough, and he clearly hasn’t been putting in the effort so has even more of a right to be criticised. And he plays Long, because we’ve got no one else, and as he showed against Arsenal, Brighton and even yesterday, he does try and actually give a toss about the team, which too many players currently don’t. And sorry but you do realise that Djenpo only started 2 games this season, so he certainly hasn’t persisted with him much at all. And if you watch Klopp, Guardiola, Simeone, Mourinho etc they can all be clearly seen being peed off with their players when they’re not performing as it shows the players that unless they change how they’re performing then they’re in for it, and shows to everyone else that they’re not happy. So you say this list goes on and on, but you only made two fair points outta 8, which certainly doesn’t suggest it’s some never ending list, but rather a few issues, but not a ridiculous amount.

We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 22:21 - May 1 with 2313 views | Foreverred | What was evident yesterday, palace wanted it more than saints, once we scored we thought we could nick a 1.0 win, apart from a few poor shots from s Armstrong I cant remember us troubling their keepers that much, che Adams had a poor game, and has been poor in his finishing where he should have scored in many games of late, Shane will give the effort but rarely Looks like scoring , so we are relying on goals coming from midfield and JWP special free kicks.Yesterday we were second best on many challenges, and although Fraser had an off day, he has been performing well of late behind defenders that failed to do the basics.he would have expected our centre backs to have got the block in for the palace winner, even if you have one of the best keepers in the country in Pickford it makes no difference if your defenders are not doing their job ,hence Everton are in a relegation fight even with Pickford between the post. We must man up now and get a result at Brentford, because the magic forty points may not be enough this season.
We just aren't good enough - Ralph's own words on 07:36 - May 2 with 2182 views | saintwizzler | It’s time for a change. Hassenhüttl has (hopefully) kept us up. And we got to a quarter final of the cup. Wow. These players are not playing for him. It’s either he goes or the majority of the players. Thanks and goodbye Alpine Klopp.

I may have missed something here but can you provide the link to prove that he fell out with Stuart Armstrong over the shape and tactics? This is the second time it has been stated as a fact. All I have read is that he had a calf injury. You and Saint68 both state the “fall out” as a fact so the evidence must be there somewhere. As for the manager, at one point on Saturday we were sitting at 9th, something we would have been more than happy about. It had been an up and down season performance wise but seriously, we are an average mid table team, what more do you expect?
