Lots of grumbles about him recently but we need to learn how to play to his strengths. He came on yesterday and looked pretty sharp, making a couple of runs in between Centre halves but as usual yesterday we just didn't release the ball quickly enough. He won't be offside if ball is played quickly, just like the opposition did.

Obviously the jury is still out but you are correct, we are not playing to his strengths. There was a situation where he ran in behind calling for the ball from a throw in but McCullum didn't even look ahead and was looking only to throw it backwards.

On another matter, what's happened to Sam’s long throw?

No doubt, he is finding it very tough lately......he must be better than he is currently showing us.

As I’ve said previous it’s hard work being a CF in this side.

He still looks a bit arse heavy, as seen when he sat on Thomson’s leg, but he ended up playing with his back to goal when really that should be Dykes role so he can run on to any lay off.

Think we need to play one up front which doesn’t really suit Gray at all.

There are a few unsolvable issues at present and you’re starting to sense that in the players demeanour towards each other.

Dykes also made a couple of runs early on that the CB's and Midfield do not look for. They appear to be so well schooled in going side to side keeping the ball that these are missed opportunities.

Another area where De Wijs would help over Dunne.

Can we go out yet?

Been saying this.every game hes played. Hes always looking to run and NOBODY has the vision to spot him.
Well the only one that has is Johanson who is playing too deep.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Have you considered his "heavy arse" may be hereditary

A lot of fans scream at him 'get onside'!
And I think - he would be onside if we played the ball at the right time, rather than waiting til he's run past the last defender.

Bare bones.

Twice yesterday he had the shirt half pulled off his back as he turned, the Lino was as close to it as he could be and never flagged.
