Probably the best away day ever, and up there as one of the best games i've ever been to.
We were absolutely superb that day, on and off the pitch, put to bed the ghosts of the relegation game, humiliated them to the point their fans left early and we even such a f*cking massive racket they started piping crowd noise in through the back of the away end on their tannoy.
Every single last Portsmyth was shattered that day, what a f*cking night.

Was on a school residential that week and I’m still absolutely gutted I didn’t get to go. Did manage to get another teacher to cover for me so I could sit somewhere quiet and watch it on my phone. Not quite the same as being there but the best I could do. Did get to show the goals to the few Saints supporting kids the next morning though, which was fun.
you can drink your weak lemon drink now.

Really gutted I missed this due to recovering from serious illness so I had to sell ticket. As for the best away game mine was Moran 84. Unbelievable scenes on the terraces when he scored at Fratton.

Yes, 84 was the away day to beat so funny that as their inbred's could not get to the Saints fans they smashed up their own city (as the saying goes £250000, of improvements were done that day)
