EFL receive formal complaint against potential investors from RAFC 19:45 - Aug 4 with 17265 viewsRAFCBLUE

From the forum.

The club have reported the potential investors for discriminatory comments made.

Disgraceful that in the current day and age people make discriminatory comments and well done to the Board for taking the steps to properly report these to the EFL.

Threatening behaviour is a criminal act.

So is the removal of club data, with a view to hawking it around the most gullible and despicable of shysters.

Two separate criminal acts, and we are confident we know who is behind each one.

And justice can be served over time.

If you look at the backlog of cases in the courts there are many years to follow through on any wrongdoing and have it properly investigated and prosecuted.

I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder for the long arm of the law creeping up on me.

Whoever leaked all that personal shareholder information has committed a deceitful and criminal act.

It was stated at the FF that Curran and Rose have not started proceedings through the proper channels and there is a protocol of doing things..

Its seems that these two are so thick(hence their business stance) that they started from a backwards prospective which in its self speaks volumes......

If these two have offered to buy Altmans and Marcellis shares then im affraid the yanks wont get any money and they will still hold the amount they bought.......

Perhaps the trust can persuade them to sell to them later......

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

I suspect you have Mr Bottomley to thank for this if you are Curran and Rose.

The plan which was withdrawn at the EGM was for the then directors to be allowed to release new shares to anyone they saw as fit and proper.

If that had been passed, then Curran and Rose would be in by now - with over 50% and the EFL test would have been swept under the table.

Unfortunately Bottomley did not get his wish.

He was then removed from the Board and has now left the club by mutual consent.

It would be amazing if Curran and Rose had listened to a man most of use regard as a complete and utter tool but we know that he can be convincing and conniving however if you don't know that I bet you can be taken in.

Any NDA's signed with Curran / Rose / Jarvis will have been on his watch and if they have transacted on a "dead cert" which isn't actually a dead cert, well that just leaves you dead.

Bottomley will have known the purported selling shareholders well for years - Andrew Kilpatrick, himself and Graham Rawlinson served on a majority board alongside others.

Then the two Americans - they were tempted on to the Board by Bottomley but then said no.

The planning for sale of the club then followed.

If you're trying to buy this club then you are backing Bottomley's plan - a plan that essentially failed because it did not make any sense.

Ah! I’m from Essex. Mind I can recognise all of Finberty’s comments. I see it everyday.

The arrogance, inflammatory and threatening language they use is a true sign of an ignorant and truly rattle group of wannabe’s, who haven’t got an ounce of class or scruples.
This episode has completely trashed their business credibility. As a result they will be desperate to get hold of the club. But the evidence as to why they are neither fit or proper persons is mounting up against them, and ironically they are providing all the damaging details themselves. Thanks lads keep it coming,

They will be desperate, as you suggest, and it's showing in their behaviour

Having put so many eggs in the Dale basket (without paying for them) and in the process raising their profile further with the EFL, failure to achieve the HRT could leave them all in an exposed and compromised business position

When they've finished whingeing pathetically about us, they'll find someone to blame - and they need look no further than David Bottomley

David, if you're keeping tabs on this, you know you'd better watch your back (and your back door). The Essex mob will be on your trail, if they aren't already. And they won't be the only ones; i wouldn't be surprised if further enquiries are made into your business activity whilst at RAFC by more than one body concerned with law enforcement, for instance

I said the same in an earlier post DA.

I can see how Curran and Rose - despite their obviously unsuitability - might have been taken in by Bottomley.

He'll have given them every assistance AND we know for a fact that he hosted all of the possible investors at the Swindon Town home game on 13th April , which included Martin Halsall, the Speakmans and Curran.

From there the plan Bottomley had failed spectacularly but if you didn't know him (as Dale fans do) and know the level of ineptitude as CEO and just listened to one of the many odious Youtube or PR broadcast you may have fallen into the trap that he actually knew his stuff.

Then there was the clandestine running around to snap up shares, but not a majority.

Panic then sets in and Alexander Jarvis rings around all big shareholders hoping for enough to get them over the line. They obviously all say no and the word gets out.

Bottomley has locked up a sizeable wedge (I think that is the Essex word) of Curran and Rose's capital in a client account with a law firm that MIGHT be transferred. Existing shareholders have received nothing so far.

In the meantime, the PR that Curran is getting as a man who owns a £2.1m mansion in Ingatestone, Essex and drives a £300k Rolls Royce Culinan without having ever seemingly had a job is getting people to ask questions.

Rose - his compadre - is also tied up with John Radford the Mansfield owner (Google: Mansfield Town Barnby Moor) and Rose's son Oliver works directly for Radford.

There are so many failures and conflicts of interests it does make you wonder how the EFL haven't just thrown them out.

Bottomley will not be a popular man when this all goes south. Something Hasbro and Dale have found out to their cost already and I suspect Curran and Rose are just wakening too.....

Find below a number of addresses that you may find useful and please, just jot down a few lines to these people to make them aware of the potential injustice on the cards here. If each one of us sends a letter then it may make them take notice. No one on this forum likes to mention bury and their demise, but if we ALL don't take a stance against these imposters to our game and our club then we we will be the bury of the future. This is our club!

Posting those addresses once would be "doing your bit"

Stuffing them into multiple threads is just annoying because messageboarders will open them in the expectation of reading something different, thus wasting their time

Neither was i "annoyed" ...

It certainly increases the digital footprint of the anti-takeover campaign (which i understand to be the intention), as long as it's not something that gets repeated by all and sundry with the same intention, which would then become ridiculous

However, Mr Jarvis said the takeover deal was '100 per cent going ahead'.

He has to be the only one right? How can someone legitimately call a conversation where someone uses a homophobic term "heated".

The FA term is "discriminatory" and the legal term is "unlawful"

I'm very surprised that the EFL have not just got on with it and referred Andy Curran to the police under the Criminal Justice Act 2003. Perhaps they already have?

What was perpetuated is a hate crime with various witnesses - can't be any clearer than that.

Indeed

It's as if the EFL are bending over backwards to try to accommodate those with dubious intentions rather than making it clear that anything other than straight-dealing immediate proof of funding gained by easily-proven legitimate means is the only criterion by which the F&P ownership test can be passed

Any other attempts to gain ownership of a club should be dismissed until such time as those conditions are met - and that wouldn't happen overnight. Instead, the EFL seem to have taken the burden of proving someone ISN'T Fit & proper upon themselves, which i'd suggest they have neither the time or resources to do

Were it not for the work undertaken by Dale fans in providing so much relevant information regarding those trying to acquire ownership of our club, i very much doubt they'd have managed to fulfil their own remit (and they haven't, as yet). They've failed to do so with other clubs with dire consequences
