As Cilla used to says: And here's our Mandy from Liverpool!...... 08:39 - Jul 3 with 29436 viewsRAFCBLUE

Messageboard folk meet Alex Jarvis:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/ajarvis8/

Cheeky chappy scouser now assisting dim and distant third parties attempt to take over our beloved football club. He is connected, via LinkedIn to our former CEO, David Bottomley who was determined to sell the club before Bottomley was removed by shareholders at the EGM.

Here is what the Hull Daily Mail had to say about "Our Alex":
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/who-alexander-jarvis-man-mystery-

His Twitter bio says his interests include: "Football club M&A, ICOs & cryptocurrencies."

From Liverpool, he has previously said he left school at 16 and started brokering painting and decorating contracts. He has told Reuters a chance encounter with a billionaire on an ocean liner at 20 years old in 2011 gave him the opportunity to travel and work in China.

He has since put himself forward as a leading authority and middleman for Chinese businessmen looking to invest in Western football clubs, although it is not known which clubs he has assisted in brokering deals for.

The problem is:
1. Alex doesn't have two bob to rub together himself.
2. He introduces people and doesn't buy things himeself.
3. His company has only been in business less than two years.
3. He was born in 1991 - obtainable from Companies House - so at 30 he's managed not very much with his life.

But he has been on a cruise liner.

From brokering painting and decorating contracts to working with Bottomley to broker the sale of RAFC to any third party on any terms and at any price.

We have seen off better chancers than this clown.

I hope that our key shareholders and supporters have really done their due diligence on who they meet in dark and seedy corners and why they meet them, because Cilla has!

Now before our Graham with a quick reminder..... who has question number 1?

Except are they?

I can't find a link to say anywhere that they are involved in legitimate businesses.

Andy Curran is a ghost on the magical world of the internet which is amazing given his son Tom played for Southend and then Swindon.

That's the thing Andy H.

Has Alex actually done a deal? I don't mean a football club deal but actually a deal in his life.

The thing that Alex might not have thought about is that one former director acting independently of the others does not bind the Board. Equally all secure emails are traceable to recipients from senders and the like.

David Bottomley and him are INEXTRICABLY linked in this charade. The LinkedIn connection proves it.

You'd have to be a fool to have been taken in by it. Mandy's even posted Alex's emails what kind of "M&A" specialist allows their email to be compromised.

He might have actually just sunk his clients Curran and Rose. Not that there is anything there that either of those look to bring that Martin Halsall did not.

What I know know about Bottomley from the EGM last month is:

1) He tried to get the American shareholders into bed (admitted by Dan Altman during the AGM and their invite to join the Board). They declined.
2) He tried to get Halsall into bed. That fell over too as the Board withdrew their motions to let Halsall in.

I'm not sure about you but if I was someone else's third choice I wouldn't be pleased. I bet Alex doesn't knows he's the third choice until now though and I bet Alex's clients putting their money up are delighted with that; he's bearing no risk here.

Yes we as supporters through the trust need to work with the board to make this happen. Now more than ever is TEAM ROCHDALE more appropriate.

I have followed this very closely over the last few weeks/months and I applaud you RAFCBLUE for your investigative prowess and mindset in updating us all on here by putting things into context.

This is probably the most important and 'dangerous' time in the clubs history. We read everyday about other clubs and their 'investors'. Derby Co, Sheff Wed, Bury, Charlton etc. Investors want a return and what has the Dale got to offer? I see Gigg Lane and the trophies Bury have won (FA Cups) are now up for sale.

No one should underestimate what is going on here. These people are toxic. They are here to steal our club and every single one of us needs to stand up and be counted. We need to back the current board who have all, well nearly all, stumped up a lot of their money. They are volunteers and walked into a right mess. We also need to join the Supporters Trust so our collective voice can be heard.

These sharks are not going away. We never ever want to see Spotland up for sale.

Well said and whilst plaudits are nice there is a huge group of people who thanks to "Our Mandy's" indiscretions last evening are now onto Curran and Rose.

Thank god for Alex Jarvis's indiscretion though because the amount on Curran and Rose in the public domain is limited - which usually indicates limited resources, no long term business capability and the type of asset stripping chancers that ruined bury and a host of other clubs.

Bottomley has a lot to answer for.

How as Alex Jarvis got hold of shareholders information? Do you know RAFCBLUE. This doesn't sound legal to me, DPA/GDPR?

I have absolutely no idea Andy H.

Perhaps Alex was given it by someone so that he could go about contacting shareholders so they could sell their shares?

Perhaps Alex is a top computer hacker and has infiltrated the club's webserver using tactics only seen in films.

On reflection, it must be the first one. I mean, how do you write open targeted emails in a marketing campaign?

A better question is why have those emails been done selectively. It's almost like someone (and I don't know who) has been able to help Alex target his communications?

A 30 year old scouser having that level of network (admittedly has has done a bit of cruising in his life) is completely unbelievable.

He's had help.

It’s easy enough to get a list of shareholders names from company house, it’s just some legwork to get addresses ect

You do wonder whether our ex CEO or ex Board members have still got access to content that they shouldn't have. If DB agreed a compromise agreement or redundancy he would be required to hand all information back. The club could take legal action if they felt he did have access to content. This could get even dirtier

Agreed.

And when your emails start:

Private and Confidential; Subject to Contract

I trust this finds you well. Please allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Alexander and I act for 2 investors. Mr Andy Curran and Mr Darrell Rose, who have agreed the purchase of the shares in Rochdale Association Football Club Limited with a number of sharerholders.

Who?... and why? .... well, let me explain

Andy has met and spoken about in depth with members of the board about his long term strategic vision for the football club which is primarily based on sustainability, investment into key areas and engagement with fans.

Andy and Darrell understand the history and heritage of the club and are 100% committed to continuing and building on the great work and foundations that the board and the shareholders have put in place over the years to build the club to where it is today;.....

It goes on and on and on. You can see why people might be taken in by it.

Our Chairman says he's never met these people on Twitter but Andy Curran has, apparently "met the Board and talked in depth". You have to assume that it must have been with Bottomley.

This is the type of email that has prompted low ball offers for shares in the club. Sell to me, keep it secret, do not tell anyone.

Except this is Rochdale where everyone knows everyone and the divide and conquer tactics of the former CEO mean information is shared and divulged.

I'm surprised Andy Curran has not been on Twitter or Facebook to call our new Chairman a liar. But Andy Curran is not on Twitter because Andy's business practices are not the sustainable, long term ones that young Alex preaches.

Google Andy Curran and see what comes up.

So little, which is why he wasn't in Bottomley's top 2 for the scheme that was foiled by shareholders at the AGM/EGM

LKC MOTORS LIMITED

Used to be called: FINANCE CREDIT SOLUTIONS LIMITED

It's a family concern and there looks to be some crossover between the Rose family and the Curran family by marriage looking at the information in the public domain.

Those accounts you quote, judd. They're from February 2020, before the ravages of a global pandemic. £40k isn't a lot of cash to see you through a pandemic and not a lot of people bought cars last year.

What would a used car salesman with no previous Dale affiliations based in Worksop want with a League 2 football club in the North West? Hmm......

I believe there is a covenant on the land that it is to be used for sports purposes. However these covenants can be negated by smart lawyers and property developers.
