Top six watch on 13:35 - Feb 15 by Badlands | I'm one. And stick to my opinion. Monkers will always say he gained our highest finishing position in the Prem but he did it with ar*e numbingly boring hoofball and his legacy was to tear apart everything the previous 6 managers had achieved. Cooper isn't a fraud but he has got connections and Winter is a very good CEO with even more links (who took over from another very good CEO with good links). We keep seeing signs of being a confident side but then we see performances (mainly from midfield and forwards) that are relegation standard. Yes we are doing well and he is doing OK but, given our squad, we should already be sitting at the top of the league. |
The midfield has done a job on the best in this division. Brentford away will live long in the memory for me, we absolutely toyed with them. I think that was one of the first times we played the Grimes - Smith -Fulton axis and they clicked and dominated Brentford. Our forwards have been scoring these past two months but when they don’t others step up. I would have been with you as one of Coopers sternest critics early last season but since lockdown he’s become better and better. I’m never seen such a resolute ,ruthless and sometimes nasty Swansea side at this level but all those elements are needed to create a title winning team. Let’s get behind him , his coaching team and the players . This could be an incredible year for SCFC.

Which shows he's learning and developing his managerial skills .

Hard to disagree with any of that, I would have still liked to have seen MGW with Grimes and Hourihane though. I think it could have been lethal personally, though it's hard to see the likes of Fulton dropped at the moment.

I'm a big fan of Fulton, just thought MGW looked the part every time he has played and it's gutting we never saw more of him. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I will still never work out how he scored that goal at Rotherham 🤔

I think Grimes has improved markedly since Hourihane arrived. Some of his passing has been excellent in recent games, not to mention his 2 thunderbolt left-footed goals against Nottm Forest and Norwich.

Not taking set pieces is where he is more dangerous, just outside the box.

Top six watch on 15:25 - Feb 15 by raynor94 | Oh, I don't think he's the real deal yet, he's been shown wanting in game management a couple of times as you say. But to get us into this position is fantastic, and it's all in our hands |
everyone takjs about his kack of game managementyrt he won a world cup with the English U17s....tournament football is all about game management. It has been said on here how Cooper did not develop those players as the "graft" was done at their clubs but the hard work at a tourbament is getting results and managing each gamr ti get a result....you dont have a season to even out results at a tournament obce you get through to the knock out stage you havr to win.....all done by game management

2 now. Until the last few minutes though I thought they have been awful. Luton don’t look like scoring though unfortunately and when they have the likes of Wilson they’ll more often than not nick one

It is all in our hands we need to keep winning and when (should) we win our games in hand we should be top of the league clear of Norwich by a point and 8 points clear of Watford in 4th place We need to focus on what we are doing not others at the moment.....others results become more critical as we dont get wins

Top six watch on 22:16 - Feb 17 with 1912 views | felixstowe_jack | We gained 3 points on brentford tonight and we are top of the current form tables for last 6, 8, 10 and 12 games. In the last 6 matches 16 points Derby and QPR 15 points Them down the road 14 points.
