Charlie Austin 15:11 - Sep 4 with 4761 views | jeffranger | Rumours on Twitter, I know it’s only Twitter Is Charlie Austin is the striker we want, what I’ve seen of Charlie last season wasn’t that impressive, so in two minds whether he still do it, your thoughts
Charlie Austin on 15:21 - Sep 4 with 4671 views | gobbles | Obviously, this makes no sense. But to stir the conspiracy pot a bit more, when he was interviewed on Sky Sports Racing a couple of weeks ago, moaning about the lack of prize money in racing, he was listed as a "QPR striker"!

What particularly impressed me was that some of the mouth breathers representing both clubs on Twitter appeared to have already negotiated the terms of a loan deal between themselves. Move over Lee and Les.
Charlie Austin on 19:34 - Sep 4 with 3581 views | danehoop | According to the unequivocal truth spring that is Wikipedia he signed a 2 year contract with WBA in August 2019 following a £4M transfer. Can see that he may now be surplus to requirements for them now they are in the big leagues, but he still scored a handy 10 goals in 34 league games last year. That isn't bad, for a 31 year old who appears to be held together with sticking tape, in a side that got promoted. Not sure if would have the legs, drive or desire for a big cut in wages to come to us. Maybe though, given he will be a free agent in the summer and with us there will certainly be more game time for him than WBA next season. Just doesn't feel very Warballs though, and if it hadn't been for his previous history with us, would any of us be even vaguely happy about a move for him? I'm on the fence with this one.
